Has to be tough to be dax right now. Everything he has railed against his beloved party is smushing right in his face...and he has to eat it.

California with easily the highest Federal Pay Roll in FFY 2015, outdoing DC by $8 billion.

$376 billion in total federal spending.

What are they going to do if they secede?

What would gross and stupid Alabama do?

Near the top.  But they still get billions more off the government teat than they give back to the feds.

The Federal Government is pumping nearly $400 billion a year into that state.

SMDH, huge pig.

hmmm.....

http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2017/03/alabama_is_4th_most_federally.html

There's multiple huge military bases in Alabama and a relatively low population.   Still doesn't change the fact that on a total dollar basis, multiple lib strongholds dominate the federal spending charts.

Question: given the horrible nature of the allegations, why did Democrats wait to reveal them until after it was too late to replace Moore on the ballot? They would have had a far easier time torpedoing Moore during the primary, but that's not what Dems wanted. They don't care about keeping Moore out of the Senate - they care about winning the seat for a liberal. That's why they waited. Seems that politics outweighs the allegations for the Dems, too.

You assumed a premise that there is no evidence to support (that Democrats previously knew about the assaults and concealed them) and then immediately turn around and point out that your own assumption makes no sense UNLESS something even more sinister was going on. :jerk:

You know, it could also be that the victims did not have the strength to come forward until they realized that Moore in the senate was a very real possibility.

Yes, just all a remarkable coincidence!! Didn't have the strength when he was a supreme court judge, not when we was in the primary.... what remarkable timing!

Stop being a dumbass and just acknowledge that this is just as political for the Dems as it is for the Pubs. Both parties care more about winning the seat than the allegations.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

of course, none of this has to do with the fact that the bigot roy moore tried to have sex with high school girls when he was 35 and isn't fit to serve in the united states senate

Evidently not a problem for Dems when Roy Moore was a Supreme Court judge, or when he was running for senate, or after he won the primary up until the final deadline.... and then finally a big problem! Golly, if Dems really cared about this, you'd think they might have brought it up back when Pubs still had an opportunity to pick someone else....

Of course you would believe Roy Moore and Steve Bannon's account and not that of the victims. Not to mention vote for the man if given the chance.

as sd noted on page 1, there was plenty of stuff about roy moore that should have made him unelectable to begin with, but republicans didn't care about that stuff either (in fact they loved it)

It became a problem the second those women stepped forward and told their stories. Are you saying that those women are actors? Or democrats? Or working in consort with democrats?

The Democrats have absolutely had a hand in bringing these women forward at the time that they did. You are beyond naive to deny that.
