Things are going pretty awesome for me, too, and I have to agree on the Star Wars movies. But I can also see some pretty serious problems nationally with long-term implications...
1. The cost of many important things, like health insurance, continues to increase dramatically, while household income remains stagnant if not slightly declining.
2. National Debt has doubled to $20 trillion in just 8 years, now surpassing 100% of GDP.
3. Labor force participation rate is down to just 63%.
4. While crime rate has been trending downward overall, violent crime is up.
5. Middle East is in flames, Islamic terrorist enclaves are emerging in "First World" countries, and US immigration policy seems to be encouraging the same lack of assimilation here.
6. Worst race relations since the 60s, with police officers being gunned down in retaliation for perceived injustice.
7. A presidency and federal bureaucracy that doesn't give two fucks about applying law impartially, targeting certain groups while flatly refusing to enforce laws elsewhere for political expediency.
8. The percentage of out-of-wedlock births has risen to 40%, including a staggering 72% among African Americans.
9. NFL's lowest ratings in history, either because the product sucks or people want to keep their sports and politics separate.
10. someone who makes me uncomfortable epidemic on college campuses, worse than it has ever been.
