Trump getting involved and being a major dumbass about it. I respect the hell out of Malcolm Jenkins and the Eagles take on this when they never kneeled, some players have communicated quite well about their pride for the country and have been able to express their feelings on it, etc. I’m starting to view it more and more as their freedom of speech. It’s still their employer tho by the end of the day.
I’ve had a lot of family members serve for this country and it really pissed me off in the beginning. I’m still not a fan of the guys who do it and have been given an open platform to express why they do it and won’t say why. I’ll use Peters as an example and that’s not why I wasn’t a fan of his. He was obviously a badass.
