I'm going to the Indy 500 in 2 weeks. Any protips from cats who have been or places to eat in Indy?

The answer is Skyline Chili.

I'm not really a fan of gore, and I'm pretty sure I mentioned this before (rhyme!), but the Terrifier and the Terrifier 2 are pretty good campy horror movies. But be advised, there is a ton of gore.

I agree with dax that this puts MAGA in a real bind vis-a-vis their hero Orban.

These mini cattle intrigue me.

All good, bro. No blood, no foul.

I enjoyed the part at the end with the factoid about the Post lady starting Mar-A-Lago followed with "(this is actually true)", was a fun little film!

Yeah, it was a fun, stupid little romp (and of the appropriate length).

Switzerland was the only stop on my trip that was significantly more expensive for everyday type items. Everywhere else was similar or cheaper than kc. It's a beautiful country though.

That's because it's elite. I would like to live there, some sunny day.

That's the hardest one to move to.

I have some people who could help me out.

Is that the lime and chili chowder seasoning? I can’t keep up with all these high-falutin food trends what with the cronuts and alternative milks

You're thinking of TAJÍN.

Sorry  that wasn’t directed at fancy big city lawyers, it was more just a general comment

I knew exactly what you cheekily meant. While I'm not going to make a proclamation that I'm moving as the result of an election, I'd be lying if I didn't admit I've been slowly and methodically thinking of an escape plan. Not for soon, but if necessary at some point.

I have IRL looked up housing prices in suburban Toronto. Vancouver would be better, but it's too expensive.

I know I want to live in the Alps, or at least Alps-adjace. My problem is that lawyers in other countries don't make outrageous money.

Neither do doctors.

Yeah. According to my lived experiences, most professions in Europe have a high floor but a low ceiling.

Europeans just don’t value wealth inequality like we do (because they are very stupid)

 :dunno:

I'm not sure which thread is appropriate for this: resisting border patrol inspection

LOL at this dax. He's clearly American, but he breathlessly refuses to say it. I've driven through these inland checkpoints, and I for damn sure did my best, "Howdy, boys! How ya doin'?" every time. Because I was, in fact, carrying contraband. No issues.

does washing down a food titled "Buckin' Ranch Takis" with "Cherry Cola" Bud Light Seltzers belong, ITT?

gotta say that Buckin' Ranch may be my new favorite flavor of Takis.

I can cede that those are all words that exist in the English language however I cannot decipher any of it

You live in Houston and you've never encountered Takis?

Turns out it's more expensive to renovate your stadium when it's not a hole in the ground.

I don't know why the Seagal and Russia stuff cracks me up so much, but it does.

I wonder if we'll later find out he's a CIA spy on deep cover.

I'd just play Ken Burns documentaries.
