I thought the deal was that he never ran to hold onto his senate seat. Acted like it was because he was 100% committed to running for President. Everyone in his district seems to hate him, though, so maybe that was just an excuse not to lose a bid for re-election.

Considering he is/was a senator, his district is/was Florida. But yeah, him deciding not to run for re-election clears the way for #myguy Patrick Murphy.

There is an interesting theory out there that Hodor is actual a warg. He was warging with a horse, but something went wrong and now the horse's mind is trapped in Wylis's body. Hodor is the name of the horse, so keep an ear open for horse names in the flashbacks. (Maybe Lyanna's horse.)

Pretty sure that's not how warging works. That would make so much more sense if the horse was a warg.

1658
Everybody is forgetting that Hodor is back
don't you mean willis?

What if the Prius commercial showed a bunch of white collar criminals driving? Like people who had engaged in insider trading, but it's tough to prove so they never get caught but still care about the environment?

white collar criminals who care about the environment are pretty terrible white collar criminals if they aren't driving Teslas.

Also, isn't social security paid out almost entirely based on a proportion of what you paid in?

that, and to people who have SSNs. so, by definition, illegal immigrants can't get it.

to make everything equal, i started to go to a penisatrician to match the cost of my wife's gynecologist. NOW SHE CAN'T COMPLAIN, CAN SHE?!?!

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but that specialty doesn't exist. You've probably just been paying some rando like $100 a pop to look at your junk.

right over your head, huh?

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/04/hillary-clinton-has-had-enough-of-bernie-sanders-221495

It's so sad that three of our remaining five major presidential candidates left lie so much they forgot how to tell the truth.

Quote
"There is a persistent, organized effort to misrepresent my record, and I don’t appreciate that, and I feel sorry for a lot of the young people who are fed this list of misrepresentations,” Clinton said, a few minutes after talking herself hoarse at a rally here. “I know that Senator Sanders spends a lot of time attacking my husband, attacking President Obama. I rarely hear him say anything negative about George W. Bush, who I think wrecked our economy.”

I can't stand her, it's too bad the likely Republican primary winner is somehow worse. If W ran as a third party candidate in this election I'd likely vote for him.

I also love how she talks about not being a politician and then divulged the disingenuous bullshit she knowingly played against Lazio in their debate. Like I said she can't even identify the truth when it comes out of her own mouth.

Cruz isn't worse, MIR. Politically I can understand why you would be opposed to a brilliant and combative conservative winning the presidency, but he is a better human being than Hillary Clinton. And as far I know, he never compromised national security intelligence by setting up a private server to dodge FOIA requests.

I hear the blather about how Cruz's Senate colleagues can't stand him. I'm still not sure why that's a bad thing. Our Congress is rotten. Cruz is unpopular because he didn't fall into line. That's the kind of person we're going to need in the WH.

I likewise think Bernie Sanders is a much better human being than Hillary. Like I've said before, I appreciate his honesty. I can't support him politically because he's a Marxist, but I respect that at least he's honest about it unlike most Democrats.

people don't hate Cruz because he "didn't fall into line" - whatever that means. everyone hates him because he shut down the federal government. you know, like a child.

Pringle can throw the ball 80 yards. It was a joy watching today

So once again, our best QB is also our best WR. Quite the pickle.

the new roster is up. we got two JuCo walk-on DEs (good for depth), colby moore switched from S to WR, and we now have the robert rose of kickers.

departures we knew about (Banks, K. Heath, Little, English, Patterson, Prewett, Davidson) and one we didn't (Applegate).

The hacks at the fbi didn't seem to have any problem with it

the FBI didn't break it, a third party did.

Designing and application to unlock a phone isn't the same as designing software like quickbooks.

It doesn't matter if it's flappy bird or labVIEW. The point is that it's a product, and a dangerous one at that.

1674
while i think businesses should cooperate with the government during criminal investigations once called upon to do so, i think there should be a reasonable limit for what "cooperation" entails. i don't think a company should be compelled to create a completely new product because the government tells them to, as is the case here.

That is the current law, and not what was going on here.

except that it is, because software is a product. the govt was trying to compel apple to create a new piece of software that never existed prior to their request. imo, that steps outside of the bounds of a reasonable expectation of "cooperation."
