I am more than willing to see what this guy can do here, but make no mistake about it.......this coaching search has been a complete cluster eff and Gene is a huge dork.......only Klieman can save him now.

What part of the search was a cluster? The fans' conjecture and straw grasping?

We paid a search firm for assistance in finding a head coach only to hire the AD's buddy.

Alex Barnes shouldn't get another touch the rest of the season. I've always considered Silmon a better all purpose back and still don't get the love for him.

Alex Delton hasn't improved at all, still telegraphs throws and should've had 3 legit picks. Not a D1 QB. He's a poor man's Sams.

I legit don't think our receivers could drop anymore passes.

Special teams looked good.

For most of the game we didn't get any QB pressure, I dont remember us dailing up any blitzes, which is pretty normal at this stage for playing vanilla.

Shelley didn't look good in coverage, beat deep over the middle ( I believe it was him) multiple times.

We gave up how many points to South Dakota ??

McCrane got cut.  I think he was perfect in the preseason with two 50+ yd FGs.  Would be surprised if he didn't get a shot somewhere before the season was done.

Currently, No. 11 dual-threat QB and No. 197 overall recruit in the country in ESPN rankings...

Last time we had a top 200 recruit out of high school? Probably looking at Lamark Brown, Ell Roberson, Monty Beisel, Chris Boggas - somewhere in there.

This is one of the hhighest rated recruits out of high school we have landed that I can remember if he stays. This is a huge huge get to start the class. A four star ESPN top qb will bring in more recruits too, this isn't getting enough love.

Multiples are coming... just not football.

Are they all projects Currie got the ball rolling on, gave a blue print (I know, I know, the stang changed the design of the baseball/softball renos) for, and got the fundraising more than started on, or is the Mustang getting something going soon that we don't know about?

That might be one of them.

That kid is deceptively fast, great vision, and solid hands for a running back based on the video. Reminds me of a Warmack type, he made the other teams look pretty silly with some simple cuts. 4.30 40, I'm not sure but he's definitely got speed, I'm surprised he doesn't have more offers.
