I like the lineup! #letsgetweird

Also, I expected more of a fuss from KC about Gordon 2nd.

yeah i don't think anybody feels great about it, but maybe the change will help? if he is more focused on getting on base than driving in runs, do you think he will strike out less? also hudson is a right handed pitcher who i believe was gordon's age when gordon was born.

What happened to Kratz batting? Remember when he hit two HRs in one game, and one was with a broken bat?

You sound pretty sure about that. I don't think we want to pinch hit our backup catcher unless we have terrance Gore at the plate or something.

Would only happen if Gore or someone ran for Salvy in the 9th, and the game went on long enough for Kratz to bat.

I think we're set up pretty well to play "National League baseball". Billy, Willingham, Aoki, and Kratz are all pretty decent pinch hit options plus we still have Gore's speed and Nix ( :Yuck:) if we need a sub on the infield.

If we need more than that it's either a really long extra inning game where both teams are throwing everything they have onto the field, or both pitching staffs have imploded and the score is something in the 18-16 range

I would've liked to see Colon on the bench.  Also, it looks like the Giants are playing sans shortstop so that should help us.

They're playing two left fielders because they expect the Royals to hit lots of homers to left field, the plan is for one guy to stand on the other guy's shoulders to try and rob home runs.
