I can't remember a single one of your posts, so I don't know what makes you think you're so great weirdo.

We’re not all trying to go down in the annals of gE history, man. Relax it’s Sunday.

Chiefs are 8.5M over the 2018 cap right now.
If you let D.J. (8.0) and Tamba go (7.5) and trade/release Alex (17.0), you save 32.5M against Cap.
Making us 24.0 under.  That number includes all the players we have under contract.

Offense= players we have under contract include 7 OL (Fisher Schwartz LDT Morse Witzmann Erving Ehinger). Skill players - 3 RB 4 WR 2 TE (Hunt Ware West, Hill Conley Robinson Chesson, Kelce Harris). And of course Mahomes.

Wilson and Fulton are FA. They are the only 2 that really played a lot of snaps. Sherman is also a FA, but he can be re-signed or replaced.  We must also get a backup QB.

Defense = players under contract include 2 DL (Jones Bailey) 4 OLB (Houston Ford TPass Zombo) 2 ILB (Ragland Eligwe) 3 CB (Peters Revis Nelson) 4 SS/FS (Berry Parker Sorenson Woods). Backup NT Hamilton also is under contract unless we release him.

Logan and Pierre-Louis are FA. Nunez-Roches is a RFA, so we likely keep him.
So we must get a starting DL, a NT to be specific. Then a starting ILB to fill for the spot D.J./KPL played.

Yeah, winning has been awful.

it kind of has. being just good enough to never win a meaningful game is the ultimate purgatory.

The moment before kickoff in Denver, when we were 9-0, was the peak of the Reid/Dorsey/Smith era. No question in my mind.

as long as my best good friend J-Dub is patting himself on the back for Chiefs posts, figured I'd share this gem of mine.

pffffft no way. we'd already been 9-0 like 6 years before that.
winning the playoff game was the peak. and 2nd peak was halftime of the colts playoff game when we had a 31 point lead or whatever

I view a first round playoff win with a loss in the second round as worse than a first round bye with a loss in the second round.

The mannings are gone, Brady is nearly gone, Big Ben is on his last legs and we have one of the most promising young qb's in football.  I'd like to see what Andy can do with him.

I like when Chiefs fans set themselves up for disappointment like this.

He's 2 years removed from having a top ten defense in the NFL in back to back years. I think you're being a bit dramatic, but I guess I get it. We have a dinosaur linebacking crew, no Barry or Ford this year, etc. very meh on this.

nope, in terms of actual hope and momentum it peaked at 9-0 heading into SNF at Denver.

you're just wrong on this one bud and yes this is a hill i'm ready to die on.
we hadn't won a playoff game in a million years, and reid climbed that mountain for us.
when the chiefs were 9-0 before playing anybody good, everyone was nervous nellytown usa and waiting for the kitn

also when the chiefs beat houston (LOL @ houston) it was like 2 months after the royals had won the WS, and it just felt like destiny. AND we had already smashed new england the year before. confidence and D flopping were at an all time high
