The defense has really played pretty decent but my god this telegraphing the blitz and letting the offense check into plays that always work against it seems crazy. Got lucky on those drops.

Any anger directed towards Delton seems misplaced to me. The offense is unprepared and unimaginative.

I'm with you. Most stuff I can just write off to "this is more complicated than I can appreciate."

But that wasn't. We are king of that diamond push QB for first down. And we call that??

IF we don't come back and win this game, everyone should send an email to President Myers expressing our displeasure with our current Offensive Coordinator and let him know without changes, don't expect any contributions.

Assuming Thompson is healthy, we have to give him a shot after the delay.

Delton has led us to 6 points in 48 minutes. It seems unlikely he can get us 14 in 12 minutes.

Have to try something.

I mean last year Bazooka Joe took the bulk of the backup snaps and is a big part of why Delton looks like he does.

This was just awful offense. Stats from the game until it was over after TCU scored to go up 26-6.

Only the 55-0 shut out to OU in 15 and the 17-3 loss to NU in 09 are worse offensive performances in Snyder 2.0.

Plus we've had the Vandy game, which had similar offensive numbers. No excuse for 2 of the 4 worst offensive games during Snyder 2.0 to happen with this much returning. Even with Ertz out, plus Vandy is a dreadful team.

Post game presser was awful. Even Bill made a comment about how short it was after the reporters had no more questions for him. This was shortly after he responded to a question on if he considered using Thompson with a curt "No" followed by a standoffish look away. Even the press is completely apathetic and resigned to this stuff from him and the program.

Things that pissed me off today:

1. After forcing a punt in the second quarter, we nearly block it, and the punt was poor because of a strong wind. The next time we force a punt, we trot two return men out there again. Why not load up everyone on the line and go for the block? We nearly blocked it again. If two more people are rushing in, maybe we get it. We needed a special team score to even have a remote chance of winning. Yet, we still sent two return guys out when we knew the punt would be unreturnable because it would likely be short due to the wind.

2. Punting at the end of the first half with 43 seconds left. We were on the 43, with the wind at our back. We have a kicker who can kick a 60 yard FG without the wind, yet we punt. Again....everyone knew the offense wasn't going to win this game for us. Why not try the FG. If we miss, yeah they get the ball at mid field. Who cares.

3. This has been discussed, but the 4th and 1/2 a yard play from shot gun. Maddening.

I hate backing up 4 yards from the line when all you need is less than 1. Drives me crazy.

4. Not giving Thompson a snap. I'm 99% certain that he wouldn't have made one bit of difference in this game, but give him some reps.

5. Facing a 5-7 / 6-6 record in the face. This season is in the crapper. It sucks.
