Uh, Randy Moss tho.
I am legitimately bummed about that news. I want KU to lose to Rhode Island but I don't think they will. Know what also gave me the blues last night? I thought to myself, "Man. I'll never get to hear Bob Davis call a KU game again."

Know what also gave me the blues last night? I thought to myself, "Man. I'll never get to hear Bob Davis call a KU game again." Can these transfers play this season? Don't they have to sit out a year?
who did they replace Bob with? Assuming Kevin Harlan or Marv Alberts but haven't heard.
Big 12 Coaches Anonymously Scout Conference FoesKansas “There’s not much to evaluate; they’re just going to go through another year and try to survive.” “I think they’re still two or three years away from being competitive, but David [Beaty] has some time before anyone is going to expect him to start winning games. He has to just rebuild and recruit and get it going the right direction. It was so bad when he took over — there was no way to get it turned around overnight. When your scholarship numbers are low and the ones you’ve got aren’t very good, you really just have no chance.” “The concern I have for them is he’s also had to rebuild his staff this year because they lost some assistants, and that could be an issue.” “I actually thought the freshman quarterback [Ryan Willis] played pretty well for them, but his biggest problem is if you don’t have much talent around you it’s tough to build the confidence of a young quarterback. He doesn’t have a lot to help him, and they’re just not very good up front on either side of the ball.” “They had one transfer linebacker [Marcquis Roberts] last year coming in from South Carolina who played pretty well for their defense, but they don’t have many Big 12-level guys.” “Even though the secondary was really young, nobody caught my eye as a potentially good player in the future.” “It’s just a tough situation. Signing Day is bigger for them than any Saturday right now because they have to get faster and more skilled.” - See more at: http://athlonsports.com/college-football/big-12-coaches-talk-anonymously-about-conference-foes-2016#sthash.qFPKSO6C.dpuf
Big 12Best: Gary Patterson, TCU Horned Frogs -- For a while, the Horned Frogs relied on a stingy defense and winning fairly convincingly. That changed in 2015 when, given all sorts of player injuries and suspensions, Patterson had to adapt and went 6-1 in one-score games. Over the past two years, Patterson is 9-2 in these games after going 4-7 in TCU's first two Big 12 seasons.Worst: Jim Grobe, Baylor Bears -- Let's cut the Bears' interim coach a break by remembering that he coached at Wake Forest Demon Deacons and actually won an ACC championship there. Just being competitive with better ACC teams was often viewed as a win at Wake Forest. Still, numbers are numbers, and Grobe's large body of work has produced only a 47-percent win rate in one-score games.BIG 12 COACH CAREER CURRENT SCHOOLGary Patterson, TCU 43-25 (.632) 43-25 (.632)Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State 23-14 (.622) 23-14 (.622)Bob Stoops, Oklahoma 33-22 (.600) 33-22 (.600)Matt Campbell, Iowa State 13-9 (.591) New coachCharlie Strong, Texas 14-10 (.583) 3-5 (.375)LHC Bill Snyder, Kansas State 50-38-1 (.567) 50-38-1 (.567)Dana Holgorsen, West Virginia 12-10 (.545) 12-10 (.545)Kliff Kingsbury, Texas Tech 5-5 (.500) 5-5 (.500)Jim Grobe, Baylor 49-55-1 (.471) New coachDavid Beaty, Kansas 0-2 (.000) 0-2 (.000)

Once the team becomes more competitive, and people want to come into the stadium and it gets a nice little renovation people will AGAIN begin to enjoy the setting. BUT there are always going to be people that nothing is good enough for. Plenty of people who visit Lawrence agree, game day can be something else at KU.I am from Nebraska and the walk from house parties, the reservation, or the bottoms up to Memorial in Lincoln is what makes game day special. People walk the sidewalks and streets together and they have been doing it like that for a long time.Yep. Give me that setting over what they do in Manhattan. It's not even close imo.
