I've seen several of these in the last few days, and maybe it's the K-StateO in me talking but I find it hard to believe Lockett won't be in the top 32 next year. I get it that he's a little small, but that wasn't a problem for several guys this year.

Only 3 receivers made that list.  If TLBL has a big year I don't see how he doesn't break into the top 3 on WRs.  How many teams will be going for WRs next year early?

The best comps I could think of for Lockett in the last 3 drafts are TY Hilton (5'10, #92 in '12), Tavon Austin (5'8, #8 in '13), and Brandin Cooks (5'10, #20 in '14).

If Lockett can run a sub-4.4 40 like those 3 guys he'll be drafted in the first 3 rounds. Hilton didn't go as high as the other two because he played at FIU and didn't play the same type of competition.

Lockett is probably 5'9. Stevesie is a pretty tall guy so everyone looks 5'7 to him. He probably thinks I am only 5'7 too...

Tavon Rooks

New Orleans Saints defensive tackle John Jenkins and outside linebacker Cheta Ozougwu were placed on the PUP list (physically unable to perform) Monday. Rookie offensive tackle Tavon Rooks was placed on the non-football injury list and undrafted rookie defensive tackle Moses McCray was waived.

Emmanuel Lamur

Yawn, another DITR that LHCBS turned into an NFL stud

Exactly 11 months and six days ago, Guenther and the rest of Cincinnati's coaching staff were left wondering where they ought to turn as the haunting reality began to settle in: Emmanuel Lamur, one of their top cover linebackers and most knowledgeable young defenders, was lost for the season. A shoulder injury in the first quarter of the preseason finale against Indianapolis led to their concern, and forced Guenther's stomach to churn.

With James Harrison leaving after only one semi-disappointing season in Cincinnati, it paves way for the athletic Lamur to take over at the strong side as the starter. So far, the increased role seems to have been successful, as the coaching staff has been raving about his performances in offseason sessions thus far. There is still a long way to go with Training Camp and the regular season ahead, but things look cautiously optimistic at this point.

Offseason Star: It is tough not to like what Justin Tuggle has done over the offseason and he finally gets to concentrate on one position for the season. He made his mark as the top tackler for the special teams last season and it is expected to be an integral part for the teams unit once again.
