I heard a rumor (source A-) that Bill is planning to throw a fake baby shower to celebrate oscar's birth into the big 12. This being the contrapositive to oscar's fake funeral, he expects it to help lift the black cloud that has become his life.

A for the OP's question, the answer is no. I mean, Illinois let Bill go and had to bring oscar in to mop up the mess. Bill could run from/deny that all he wanted when oscar was in another conf, but now that he is right down the road.....
