Beaty doing the whole "everything I say is cute because we probably won't win more than 1 game" shtick

Bob Bowlsby hates kickoffs. http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/discussions-about-eliminating-kickoffs-in-college-football-have-begun/
Maybe they should take the 'foot' out of the name of 'football' while they're at it.
Kansas State — Is this a sneaky good LHC Bill Snyder team? We’ve all seen this movie before: Kansas State doesn’t have a great year, for one reason or another. People predict a downfall, or at least more struggles. LHC Bill Snyder’s team surprises and wins 8-10 games, pulling off multiple upsets in the process. And this has the feeling of one of those teams. Kansas State went 6-6 in the regular season a year ago, but were so banged up at quarterback that they spent a large portion of the season choosing between a former walk-on who didn’t start at quarterback for his high school team and a wide receiver at the position. The fact that they went to a bowl game at all was something of a minor miracle, though it should also be noted that they gave Oklahoma State, TCU and Baylor — teams that won 10, 11 and 10 games — all they could handle. The Wildcats are now healthy, and significantly deeper at quarterback. And they get back Dante Barnett at safety, a player who was quietly among the Big 12’s best before missing all of last year with an injury. The Kansas State defense has the tools to be among the Big 12’s better units, and with the Wildcats’ top two running backs, top two receivers and fullback weapon Winston Dimel back, the offense could surprise. In other words, this team was picked No. 8 in the Big 12, but that looks a bit low.
in the end, EMAW will always win.
All media likes to pick the cats low and go "Don't be surprised if they turn out good with Snyder" to cover their asses.
I thought Bill looked pretty youthful all things considered at the news conference. Best I've seen him since 2012.
