I also would like to send a hearty congratulations to BYU.  Welcome to a BCS conference!  I believe in being hard working and honest.  I think these are tenants of a strong society and am glad we have more brethren that believe the same thing.  Also, I drink coffee and will not be going to hell for it.

See you on the courts/fields!

We're two, predominantly white fanbases from the Midwest.  Like two peas in a pod in that respect.  Speaking of peas, I think Mormons did quite a bit of farming, and maybe some of them still do.  Well guess what Cougar fans, K-State is a land grant ag school.  But we don't think caffeinated soda is sinful.

i for one welcome our new cougar overlords, cougars and wildcats are from the feline family. we are same, brothers

Hmmm, while I would tend to agree with you, my Mormon friends do not believe that all members of the cat or human family are the same and some may not even have souls while others do.  Interbreeding will definitely be frowned upon by them.

Warren Jeffs nearly masturbated himself to death--much like my freshman roommate.  More similarities!

When Brandon Davies has premarital sex, they kick him off the team.

When Ell rapes a chick James Mcgill has premarital sex, we handle it "in house."

But I think Mitt Romney's a decent enough guy.

utah spelled backwards is hatu and i hear that when they do this, they phonetically pronounce the "a" as "eI" and not the expected "ae". a very subtle but yet effective jab from our new conference members. kudos to you fine gentlemen. you really got us there.

Welcome to the purple train, BYU!  Glad to officially have you!

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Pretty sure that Mormons were/are very anti-Holocaust, and most KSU folks are also anti-Holocaust, so we have another thing in common!  However, most KSU folks don't expect to be given reign over a planet when we die, or black people.

But ya know, not everybody can be the same....the similarities are more important!

I cannot stress enough how much Mormons love their family, just like us!  I have no kids but I believe I may some day and I know most Mormons have a lot of kids and they seem to be very happy about that!  I do have a wife and we have a great relationship just like some Mormons I know.  I didn't, however, force my wife into a marriage against her will at the age of 13, forcing myself upon her like tends to happen in the Mormon church.  More similarities and only a few more differences!

Like most Mormons these days, Kansans who get married are only married to one person at a time.

Similarities!

hey, i was watching Jurassic Park the other day, and it reminded me of something.  Unlike most KSU'rs, Mormons believe that the earth is only 7,000 years old and that dinosaur bones are actually bones from creatures from another planet.  But we ALL agree that Jeff Goldbloom is a pretty awesome actor, so there's that.

Dear BYU brethren, allow me to introduce myself:
• I sustain myself on caffeine. Three cups of joe/day minimum.
• One wife is enough, thanks. Sometimes, more than enough.
• I now wear underwear, but when younger went commando.
• Haven't been to church except for weddings and funerals since I was in elementary school.
• There's maybe two/three days of food in my pantry (except coffee — ready for the Apocalypse on that score).
