Poll

Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.
NO . . . OB Wins again.

Nice. You have the day off? Work stuff? Either way, pretty cool.
I have some flexibility with hours sometimes.  I need to use 7 days of vacation before the end of the month or I lose them.  I'll eat a few days but take early outs the rest of the month.

does your company not let you donate them to coworkers who need them?
if not, you should suggest the concept
I am allowed to contribute days on the front end of my contract every two years, so i give two over the course of my agreement each time.  This year I just didn't take as much time for golf and other outings that I usually do, so have more left over.  I am at the allowable accumulation for both vacation and leave time, so at this point they are just eaten if I can't use these last few.  No complaints from me; I am treated well by my employers.

Seems just as legit as a helms natty????

not even nearly as close to as legit.

Seems like both are opinions, and not actually won and not recognized by the ncaa...pretty similar?

Just got back from Manhattan. Spent the late afternoon and evening just taking it all in.  As for the stadium, I really like what I see.  It is nice to see it all completely rounded off.  It's unique, but I like the look.  Am hopeful that when the south part is done they will give the east facade a finished look as well.
The other parts of campus construction are in good swing.  Enjoyed seeing the lush soccer field among other new pieces.  Made for a great Friday afternoon. Now looking forward to September football.

I drive by campus everyday so I guess I don't realize how much stuff changes.  I mean I do but since I see it everyday it's slow progress.  Glad you enjoyed it, we are doing some great things!

Thx. It's been a couple of months so lots has developed since then. Took a walk around part of campus. It was too hot to be out too long. Otherwise just drove around.

I did take some liberties with NBAF but that is technically K-State owned property or was.

Also, I use numbers KState gives to the regents, which is often adjusted up from media releases.

NBAF $1.3 billion
Athletics $210 million
Wefald Hall $80 million
Engineering $45 million
Business $60 million
Seaton Hall $75 million
Union $32 million
Leadership $20 million
Welcome Center $18 million
Chilled Water/Pedestrian $56 million
Roberts Hall $50 million
Grain Science $30 million
Early Childhood $10 million
Jardine $102 million
Rec Center $20 million
Justin Hall $7 million
Vet/Foundation/Equine $25 million

I think currie just loves mindfucking us on the wall.

It's like a parent that promises to get you ice cream but fails to mention how they have to run 13 errands around town first, bringing you along.

I'm not sure you can count NBAF. Yes, it is being constructed on land that was previously part of campus, but K-State is not spending the money to construct it. If the money is not coming from K-State or our donors, it seems like a stretch to count it as funds we're spending to improve the campus.

K-State had to spend millions to make the area ready for NBAF out of its own pocket, so, I'm counting it as "on campus" construction.

If the next president/congress feel NBAF is a no go, the land and building reverts to K-State...They've defunded it before, the only thing that is for sure right now is that the building will be built and certified, as it's already funded.

We will probably genetically modify cows so their meat tastes better or something.
