Apparently Weber and staff have continued to recruit for next year, maybe because of this?

I love Kam. He can do what he wants.

Kellis Robinette wrote the other day he thinks we could finish high up in the conference.  It will be nice to have player rotation. Mawap Mangoyle looks like a future monster.  I read wainwright likes to drive the basket.  Is that good or bad nowadays?

I'd be surprised if there was any story here and I am actually surprised that Brown didn't do the same as Stokes. From the oscar quotes in that Eagle article, there appears to be nothing to see here. I suspect oscar generally wanted his players to not do what Kam is doing, but you can't blame these guys for doing it, even oscar can see this.

I doubt the shockers give 2 fucks about playing/beating kansas state, they have been the clearly better program for a while. It's ku they have a complex with because they largely share the same fans

Yep, Wichita area is filled with ShockHawks.

On the assumption that everyone who has a scholarship stays healthy, having a cadre of reserves.has positive.  Claws can play more aggressive and will not have to play under the rim.  I thought Deathbite and Flush got tired often and faded in games.  Hopefully Wrainright and Diarra can play and keep.them fresh

If Weber does not have his best year ever as a  Catcoach next year he should be canned.  Not improve, but be the best.  He will have a full deck of decent players that include three players listed as 4 stars as seniors.  The addition of 3 new big men - Mantool, MoMeat, and Sidewinder should free Bullnuts, Claws and Sneedx to go with reckless abandon, and have fun and quit thinking so damn much.

I fully expect Stokes to be better than Clemente this year. Stokes takes 5 less shots a game, hits a higher % from three on two less per game, hits a higher free throw %, has the same number of assists per game, and played better defense than Clemente.
Stokes can create his own shot, Clemente could not.

Stokes FR/SO comparo to Clemente JR/SR probably isn't quite fair, but still here you go:

Are you trolling or completely serious?  Clemente is 10x the player Stokes is.  Denis turned the ball over a lot, but only half as much as Stokes does.  You can't score when you don't have the ball.  Denis is a better defender too.  Quicker, better clutch player, actually made his layups and shots inside the arc, a better leader, and oh yeah, Denis is actually a PG.

Stokes was shooting the ball really well before he hurt is toe and than tanked at the end of the year. If he cuts down his turnovers he is going to have a statical output even or better than Denis. But won't stress a defence in transition or at the end of the shot clock like Denis.

Big issue with next team is who do you want to have the ball at the end of the shot clock. It will be either Brown or Wade.

You can also compare Stokes sophomore year with Clementes junior year in one key stat.  Stokes team made it to the tournament.

IMO guard play got worse at the end of each game, and towards the end of the season. Why? Pooped.
When a guard gets tired their shots go flat, they make poor decision, and have no explosiveness to defend or drive.  Dogbite was it for a subber.   McSwish, Riphide, and Swampthing will provide relief that should keep Brown and Stokes fresh.

Frank took Denis and his crappy teammates to the Elite 8 the following year. I guess that would mean anything short of a final 4 next year for oscar is a complete failure. By the way, you are part of the problem dickbag.

Deathbite should be better but not exponentially, also the only way you can compare Kam and Denis is by position. Kam needs to make better decisions. I think he will probably be given a run for his money especially if Cartier is as good as expected.

I hope our transfer Forwards, big men get the ball alot more than our small ball guard set.
