This feels like one of the best examples I've seen of Kansas City having a disproportionately good alternative music scene just because of one good radio station.

And unfortunately that radio station is consistently in danger of closing shop because of dreadful ratings.  I don't know what i'd do if we lost that station.

Before KC plans and builds their future transit system, they better figure out where the sports teams are going to play and make damn sure to include that in the loop.  The setup that Portland has to get to the arena from downtown would be an ideal model.

Sprint center is set, Kauffman 2.0 land looking to be landbanked downtown within walking distance of line, Arrowhead is on Rock island line.  Sporting tied to kck BRT line.

Maybe dumb luck but we are set.

does "landbanked" mean the Royals have assembled the real estate they need to move downtown?

FYI any notary has to do this for free since it is a ballot.  MO law should get rid of the notary thing and just mail every registered voter a ballot every election...way better turn out even in this mail in ballot than the last pud walk in election we had.

Mine is filled out ready to walk down to a bank and mail.

these are interim repairs.  It takes years to design, plan and build that kind of bridge.

Whoever is in charge of 435 construction sucks a giant one too. They've had the 4th lane blocked (with cones) on both sides for up to 6 months now with zero construction going on. It's goddamn mess.
