The race in person was epic how about that last lap and fight huh???

Kansas Speedway + New Gen car really produce a good product.

You have a good time? Hot as hell I imagine.

Yeah we had a good time! Wasn't too bad the wind was out of the north at like 15 mph so it was pretty nice day to walk around the pits and out on the track. The race was a lot of fun.

That race set an all time NASCAR record for most passes on a 1.5 mile track

Was a great time. A few restarts and the new cars make for a hell of a show! Bet the playoff race in September will be fun too.

Absolute joke. I've been watching NASCAR nearly my entire life and I've never seen anything like this.

I saw Bubba was fired up about it. I didn't watch but this allowed the 4 and 9 to have top 5 finishes?

Sure did, and the 6, they finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. What's worse is that they were simply out there in the way, they had no speed. Bubba and Harrison Burton should have been part of the race at the end, with the 24.

I think this is good. n00b question: do cars get totally new paint schemes for every race these days?

NASCAR isn't booming like it used to so year long full sponsorships are a thing of the past; so there are many more paint schemes throughout the year. Smaller teams always seem to have a different scheme each race.

They're vinyl wraps. Not technically paint, just design and print.

And they put a new one on for every race since they'll typically rebuild the body after each race.

So kind of, yes!
