Well to be fair the Wizards were blue, ku is blue, and we all know that it's way easier to just be a fan of similar colored teams. I mean not everyone is a  :kstategrad: and can afford multiple shirts in different colors.

sporting kc is a dumb rough ridin' name.  stupid rough ridin' soccer teams and their dumb ass names.
one of the sports radio stations was saying the hope to build on the name to include other teams and sports like Rugby and Lacrosse.  That would be cool to have a lot of sports like that in KC.

We already have the Kansas City Blues RFC, and they are fairly well known  :dunno:

New #10 "playmaker" for KC.

Pretty meh for a designated player, but I didn't find a ton of tape on him to watch.  They needed a MF pretty bad, and I'm hoping he can add some Brazilian flavor to the play. He's had quite a few injuries so that will probably be the biggest factor on whether this works out or not.  Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Excited about his potential, but we likely wont see him for a couple of weeks.

Where'd Auvray go after the Gold Cup games?! Has he been dumped or injured?

Not that I'm a big fan of his, but he is good at attacking the ball as a defender except when he gets the ball he passes at a 2nd grade level.

It may be sooner than you think.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him out there next weekend against Toronto.  *edit - he might even play Wednesday against Newcastle to get him ready for the weekend.

There hasn't been any official word on Auvray that I know of, but I've heard he's probably going to be gone one way or another if he isn't already.

Didn't get to see the game tonight but I heard Jeferson looked good.  Creative, nice touch, pretty much what you'd expect from a Brazilian attacking midfielder.  Could be fun to watch if he gets in sync with Bravo.

Jeferson looked like the best player on our side in the 1st half. He appears to be an immediate and huge boost to our midfield. You should be very excited. He's a playmaker. I was flipping out in excitement seeing him consistently juke people, get into space, and take shots/make great passes.

Also I thought Saad looked good in his first appearance with the team.

I'm ready to get rid of Bunbury. I'm all in on Sapong.

3-0 Sporting at halftime

Kamara has 2 goals, 1 on a corner from Jeferson.  Bravo scored the other on a really nice through ball from Jeferson.   :pbj:

We're on quite a run. I think Seattle will be tough with all of these injuries mounting up (and Espinoza not able to play). Nevertheless, I'll be there hoping for another 3 points.

Most rough ridin' pathetic way to lose a game I've ever witnessed.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Gave the effing head shake of disappointment for at least 30 minutes after that one. Terrible.
