Lost in the wild excitement for kp30nt, is that the 'cats are again clawing for one of those 4 coveted "all eyes on us" slots on the Wednesday of the Big 12 Tournament. As we know, even back when Wednesdays were accessible to 2/3 of the league, Frank was always unable to get us into those games with the specially-priced tickets for some of the best seats in the house. Now, even in the era where just an exclusive 4 out of 10 teams qualify for the Wednesday session, KSU is amazingly once again back on track to earn such a bid.

Keep kp30nt at the forefront of you hopes and dreams, but save a little bit to root on the squad as they try to hold off TCU or the Cows from snatching what is ours.

It's masterful maneuvering by oscar really. Drop a couple regular season games so we can get that extra postseason game and enter the NCAA Tournament with full momentum.

Still wide open. KSU's remaining games: OSU, @OU, @TCU, Tech. Note the back-to-back road games in a conference season w/no back-to-back home games.

tcu has a tough remaining schedule, including ku and wvu. probably the best we can hope for is a tie. we have wins over baylor and wvu as our secondary tiebreakers, so they likely will need to beat us if we want a wed. slot.

wednesday gives us a chance at a win and a chance (however small) at momentum and at a run and more upsets.

give me a blowout loss on thursday on every day of the week and twice on sundays

After testy westy and greg, I'm excited by the prospects of what a lubed up kc contingent, shuttled safely by streetcar, could do in a wednesday scenario w/virtually free tickets to sit wherever you want.
