The bubble is weak not because of the P5 teams (fairly normal bubble group), but because the lack of at large quality mid major teams.

I hope we get rough ridin' hammered for our weak non-con. That kind of bullshit should not be rewarded. It doesn't help the kids, fans, or the game of college basketball. It's a chicken crap move by coaches who want to save their own necks.

My goodness, so dramatic.

USA today has us the first one out. #BubbleLife

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2017/02/21/ncaa-tournament-bracketology-college-basketball-march-madness-virginia/98188680/

They have Clemson in with a 14-12 record and 4-10 conference record.

Looks like they switched us in and Clemson out today.

All bracketology's i'm seeing today have us as the first 4 out. Everyone brath easy. Weirdest one I saw was espn having Wichita State a 7 seed and CBS having them out of the tournament.

Only way we get in is if we beat tech AND win one game against Baylor/ISU/WVU in big 12 tourney.

I think most people would agree with that. And I think the odds of it happening are about 50/50.

If we win and Baylor wins, we play Baylor. Doesn't matter what anyone else does.

If it's Jerry Palm, he's normally way off on a few things every year.

I'd say the odds of beating Tech & Baylor are definitely less than 50/50. More like 80/20 it doesn't happen.

It might depend on how healthy Lecomte is next week.

Pretty close to 50/50 we beat Tech. Probably about a 25% chance we beat Baylor. So pretty close to 1/8 we win both.

I'd say more like 60-65% vs Tech and 40-45% vs Baylor.

That is still only 25% we win both.

Right now the negatives working against us are our non con SOS, which was above 250, the fact that we only have 5 Top 100 wins, and that we have lost 8 of 11

Our biggest asset is we have wins away from home vs Baylor, OK St, Colo St and TCU....And have played well away from home almost every time out. The 2 good wins vs potential 2&4 seeds BU/WV are also good. Beating a 6-8 seeded Isu or OSU team at home would have been really big.  9-9 in committee eyes looks so much better than 8-10.  9-9 would have meant 4-6 record vs 3'teams (1-4 seed) and 2 teams (6-8 seed)

we also beat ku twice and if you don't count the being boogered up a bit, we have a couple of other wins in there too

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

If you look at Lunardi last 8 teams he has as IN, 4 of those are from BigEast. I think it's unlikely all 4 make it.

Then he has Wake making it.  If they lose at VTech, Wake would be 8-10 in ACC. They would be 2-8 vs the best 9 teams from ACC and 4-0 vs 2 worst teams, NCSt/BC who are 6-29 in ACC. Only have 2 Top 50 wins, both at home

Then he has Cal in. If Cal goes 1-1 on road this week (at 81 Utah 111 Colorado), they would be 11-7 in P12. But only top 50 win is Usc, who is a bubble team. Right now Cal only has 4 of their 19 wins vs Top 100. Harvard is their only NonCon Top100 win

Once again, it's crazy how weak the bubble is.  Vandy, his first team out is a FLA loss away from 16-15,9-9 Record in SEC.  However, our resume without 2 more wins is also very weak.

My gut says we have to make it to Friday in KC to make it safely.

As a P5 that has the $ to control your noncon if you go soft like we did you better have good wins in the conference and wins on the road.  oscar has somehow coached them up to do both but beating Tech Saturday and losing to Baylor on Thursday smells like a NIT home game to me.

I just hope we have a live feed of oscar on Selection Sunday!

This is best case scenario for me provided we get a non-invite. Can you imagine the #exbruce gems that would be flowing out of his mouth
