i'm almost to the point where i've come to terms with Sean and i'm not that scared about it anymore

This.

Over the last few years, I've actually convinced myself that Sean will be good.

This is accurate

I'm kinda eh, either way at this point. If we can survive a Ron Prince-ing, we can survive whatever Sean throws at us.

pretty sure if we're in the bottom 4 teams for 3 years in a row, people will be ready to move on.  by that time Venzy might be ready to come calm the waters

Yeah, I'm sure he would be willing to come coach a program that has been depleted of all talent just 3 years after turning down the job when he could have inherited a conference contender.

I can't imagine reacting to events that have not yet transpired and may never occur. Must be exhausting

I can't really think of too many coaches who've handed over gigs to their sons. Most that come to mind are basketball. TTech, Georgetown, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised that at minimum HCBS spends most of the season in the press box.

Sean has more experience than nearly all of those dudes combined.

Beating KU and flirting with bowl eligibility is all HC SS needs to stay employed but if he adds a DoD 1.0 stud or two the staff I will be fully tucked

If Sean was good someone would have wanted him to coach elsewhere for their team.

Does anyone know if he's ever even received any calls about going elsewhere?

Is oscar handing over the job to one of his daughters or am I missing something here?
