I get the Wild Card date, but this town was pumped before that day. The 41-23 finish to the season was a blast. The epic WC game and unexpected run to game 7 of the WS was awesome, but the 10 weeks leading up to playoff ball was a big part of the Journey. And I loved that entire Journey.

With the competitive race shaping up in this division, we may be less than 10 games out of it at the all star break, despite trudging toward a finish in the bottom 5 overall record in the league.

It is just so frustrating to watch Bonafacio botch an easy out and then let the game slip away.

it's better to be really bad than be like 2 games under .500 or some stupid crap like that anyways.

Bad time for Jack's first bad outing of the season.

It was a team effort. The two babe ruth league type errors contributed greatly, along with walking the #9 batter and the insane decision to pitch to mauer with 1b open.

Team effort, yes...I'm not blaming Jack for the entirety of the fiasco, just saying that it was bad timing for his worst pitching this year. The miscues certainly played their part (especially Bonnie's clank) and the Mauer decision is just another in the long line of Ned's odd moves over the years.  :bang:

His curve ball might as well have been slow pitch softball, should not have been thrown that inning. His fastball and splitter were could enough to overcome the other stuff

22 games in.
The KC Bullpen helped lose 2 games. The one at Houston & other night. The offense has lost 3 for sure. Other team scores 0 in 12 inn, 1 in 10 Inn, and 1 in 8 inn and you can't win (the 2-0 Oak win I can handle)

3 starting pitchers. Herrera & Soria. Then Moose & Cain. That's 7 out of about 30 players that have done their job pretty damn well. Blame the other 75% of the roster

Saw someone in media tweet earlier today that Holland had 10 saves and KC has 7 wins.

I'm not upset we don't have GH (even tho he is doing well) But the 7 wins 24 hours from May is a freaking bummer

With our offense, Holland/Davis wouldn't have mattered much. Maybe 2 more wins with those guys?
