We've been pretty $ all post season as a team with RISP. I'm not gonna freak out that we couldn't execute against Bumgarner. That crap is just gonna happen against him.
I thought we sucked in the ALCS with RISP? Could somebody look that up?

Gonna win 'em all!
please?

Gonna win 'em all!
Hey guys, did you see that Wacky said we are awesome with RISP? No way that's correct, right?

(I don't know where to go to find that stat without having to actually calculate it, any help?)

So Kauffman World series pro tips if we don't sweep these guys in SF.

- Loaded Apple Cider or Loaded Hot Chocolate in World Series souvenir insulated mug - $14.  You can't buy an empty world series cup for that price.
- Burnt End Chili located in LF behind the Hall of Fame (maybe other places as well) - delicious
- World Series string bag giveaway for signing up to be a Budweiser DD in RF outfield - you don't have to DD!!!!
- AL Champ 24/25oz koosie $7 - Bought an all-star game one in 2012 and comes in helpful in the summer games
- If in the upper deck, go to the dude's bathrooms back by the Captain Morgan bar....pretty forgotten about

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

nori crushes lhp but sucks against rhp. dyson is better against right handers. hudson is rhp. i understand the growing sentiment to sit him and i'm ok with it but not strong enough to care if we don't. i'm 55/45 dyson over aoki.

also, playing dyson gives you a better outfield the entire game and having nori off the bench in a game where pinch hitters will be at a premium would be nice. his bat is ridic versatile.

Excellent analysis. And Ned seems to be getting smarter.

Everything you posted screams that dyson should start

Dyson. It also avoids the late inning sub where Dyson takes CF, Cain goes to RF, and Nori is out. Keeps JD's speed in the game from the start, and moves Nori's ability to contact hit (and bunt) in to the late innings.

on the flip side, i hate getting to a certain point in any season and then saying "hey remember everything that we've been doing that won us a ton of games? well guess what? we're going to start doing a bunch of different crap because i'm scared if we don't mix it up and do weird stuff we aren't good enough to win".

like, i'm pretty sure dyson over aoki is the correct play if this was a computer algorithm game but it isn't. i'm a slight lean.

we didn't win a bunch a games because of aoki slapping a few singles on his way to hitting .206 in the postseason. This isn't a reach, dyson is a good player.

the "TV rating are down" stories come out every October. Nothing new. Unless its the NFL or the Olympics, TV ratings are always down.

44 million avg watched the Dodges and Yankees series.

NBC Sunday Night Football doubled WS Game One and ND vs FSU surpassed WS Game one, along with a long list of sucky TV shows.

Painful for baseball.    FYI:  US vs Portugal WC, 25.1 million viewers.
