The Chiefs did the right thing with the moment of silence for domestic violence victims.  No doubt Mitch was probably cringe worthy.

I have to agree, I think the Chiefs organization has actually handled this about as well as it could be handled. The moment of silence for domestic violence victims was one of the best things that could have been done. If the team would have come out and straight up honored Belcher they'd have to deal with the shitstorm that would come out of honoring a murderer. If they would have done nothing it would have come of as insensitive to everyone involved, especially their own players who, regarless of what he did, still lost a teammate and friend.

So as much as I hate to say it because of how many other things they've mumped up on recently, my hat goes off to the Chiefs for handling this the right way.

I don't see how anyone who was here last night could turn us down. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that.
Agreed... need to send the new "Stand Up For The Champions" video based on this game to every top 100 recruit in the country. I bet 25 change their commitment to us right on the spot and BOOM, #1 recruiting class

I know this will never happen, but for as long as the playoff is only 4 teams I think there should be some requirements in place to make sure it doesn't end up being just a SEC playoff. Something along the lines of top 3 conference champions (ND considered a conference champ if they're in play) plus 1 "wildcard". If that was in place this year the 4 teams would be ND, UGA/Bama winner, KSU, Florida.

Obviously still plenty of flaws and teams like Oregon, the Pac12 champ, and the loser of UGA/Bama would be upset, but if half the teams in the playoff didn't even win their conference it kind of defeats the purpose imho.

I just save lives. I actually saved about 12 people but only like four of those were drowning. Some people was about to drown; they just didn't know it yet

This statement is fantastic

the problem for the chiefs is that none of the QBs in this draft are any where close to Luck or RGIII.  they should have traded up last year but they are dumb so they didn't.

As much as I wanted them to trade up I think the 'Skins would have bettered any deal the Chiefs could have made. And I think the Rams would have given them the chance.

The Big East may vote to dissolve.

http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/11/22/report-big-east-schools-may-vote-to-dissolve-league/

I personally feel like we're going to see at least 1-3 of the Catholic basketball schools join the ACC (Georgetown, SJU, Villanova), and the remaining non-football schools (DePaul, Marquette, Seton Hall, Providence) will probably hook into the A-10 or something.

I realize the A-10 already has 16 teams, but these teams are kind of right in their wheelhouse.

I think the Big East voting to dissolve would be the spark that sets off major changes in mid/minor basketball conferences. There's been some minor shifts nothing as significant as there could be. I could see the non-football schools making a deal to keep the Big East name and snagging some of the upper tier A-10 schools. If that would happen and the A-10 doesn't just dissolve it could create a significant shift.

Video Tower Aggie  :dunno:

I've personally been using Lucky Charms Aggie, but I think there's way to many choices to pick just one.

Way back in my freshman year in college I dated a girl who played juco volleyball. When I was watching one of her games one of line judges tried to run away from an errant spike and when it pegged her in the side of the head she actually went sideways in the air. Was hilarious.

Here's what needs to happen for us to go to the national title:

1) We beat Baylor AND
2) Either Texas loses to TCU, but we beat them, or Texas wins against TCU and then we beat them.

I ( surprisingly)am going to agree with Zacker. awful game, second worst of the year behind Iowa st. game.No passion no emotion today.

Can I bring an orange to throw on the field (post-game) for CTR?  Is that allowable or is that too tuck-ish?

It's technically not the orange bowl...maybe throw some crystal footballs onto the field or something? :dunno:

Any goEMAW's have pre-teen girls? Get them to bedazzle some nerf footballs

do you guys think gronk has it in him to be the next Chris? I mean, he can't live up to that but can he at least step in and somewhat fill the void?

A Gronk is a Gronk.  You can't change him. Embrace what we have and go with it.

I will more than anyone, I just don't know if he can do it hard enough

He's already got a fog machine. And he's only a freshman.

that's a good point ira

I'm imagining Johnno Lazetich without the spaghetti brains

Text I received:

From [redacted] : [redacted] talked to one of her fb player friends this afternoon.  Said CK just kind of tweaked the wrist.  No injury.  Thought he had had a long enough day and we were up enough so they just decided to keep him out as a precaution.

At least that's the story they are putting out there.

Do they know that there were cameras and people there watching the game and none of them seemingly saw a trainer looking at his wrist after he left the game?

Better question is do they care?
For the concussion people, did anyone see them doing anything that appeared to be concussion testing on the sidelines.  From the student section, it was pretty clear they were doing that for Lunt on the OSU sideline, but never saw Klein doing anything but standing and cheering on the 'Cats.

I didn't see anything watching live, but I haven't rewatched yet. Possible that baby Klein sitting and talking next to him was part of it as memory tests are a big part of concussion testing.

maybe he just wants to chill with his brother and laugh about how stupid osu is.

Also possible

it was combination of both, dumbasses.  she asked a bunch of stupid shitty questions and she should've known better. but chum is right, he made it more awkward than it needed to be per usual.  there's plenty of  to go around.

Snyder makes alot of interviews akward, and one after a game where Klein got banged up? Yea, he's gonna  :billdance: all over her stupid face

It was really just a stupid question. Hey coach, in 2 of the best seasons in OSU history you happened to lose close games to them, how does it feel to win this year? Snyder-GMAMFB, this wasn't even close to the biggest game this season, I don't care about the last to seasons.

I already had the worst time trying to convince everyone this weekend that ND winning is not only ok, but good.

3 more weeks of having to repeat myself is going to get old

It will be extremely annoying when people are trying to cheer for USC to beat ND
