Some how, some way change Congress so they do something

There is no discipline in the House and Senate anymore.  Every member is looking out for themselves.  There are no means to build coalitions to get legislation passed.   Congress used to get things done, often big things like civil rights and environmental laws.  In the old days leaders used pork barrel politics as a leverage to control rogue knotheads.  They would say to them we will allow you pet project for your District or state to be funded if you vote for what we tell you to.  Ugly, but effective.  Congress can't even pass the annual appropriations they should be passing.  So I say find a way to institute pork again in moderation.  Pork can be controlled by limiting the term a member can serve as a committee chair or on a committee.  Live pig action is better than a pile of dead rotting pigs like we have now.

Do your job you self centered egotistical bastards! Lazy loafin SOBs you can't even do something simple and right.  Where is leadership and discipline?  Congress reminds me of a bunch of kindergartners arguing who wiped snot on another kid when in reality it is the kid's own snot.

Quote from McConnell basically saying we ain't gonna do a dang thing we are supposed to do.  Trump, you can lead us around by the snout cause we are loafers.

"McConnell implied in a statement that Trump had an obligation to lay out his proposal, so that Congress could move forward while considering his preferences.

“As Congress debates the best ways to address illegal immigration through strong border security and interior enforcement, DACA should be part of those discussions,” McConnell said in the statement. “We look forward to receiving the Trump administration’s legislative proposal as we continue our work on these issues.”

Representative Trout quitting House.  Fed up with gridlock, and raising millions to get reelected.  He is is tired of the dysfunctional  Congressional litter box, so are many others.
