Do we still have that guy that fell through his roof a few seasons ago?

7027
if we drop the ball at the one and it goes out the back of the end zone I'm going to be so pissed.  It really will be the worst rule in all of sport.

We can’t lose , nothing can stop us now

Is Danny Duffy still on the the team?  I don’t think I could name 3 of the 5 starters if you had a gun to my head.

Someone give me a primer on this upcoming royals season please.  I think we might be good now?   People are starting to hype the ever loving hell out of Bobby Witt Jr.

I think he should've been replaced because of the credibility issue around his messaging on masking.

polls consistently place fauci as one of the most popular/trusted persons in american govt.

I also think what you are saying is right, BUT THAT IS NOT THE MESSAGING!

I have the vaccine and while I can make individual choices that I wouldn't have previously, the messaging has not been clear at all in terms of what me being vaccinated means.  I understand they want to be a bit cautious, but having really clear societal benefits for those that are vaccinated, then promoting the hell out of it and celebrating a return to normal for those that are vaccinated would do a hell of a lot more than hemming and hawing.

yeah, i agree with that, there has been a systemic failure to laud the benefits of vaccination.  the recent communication from the cdc is an improvement but it's still underselling vaccination benefits.

tbf, we still have many, many more people waiting in line for vaccines than vaccines available.  so there's probably still quite a bit of time to transition to better messaging.

Is the most trusted person in American Govt really a poll? It is wild that you know that stuff off the cuff.

He is like 80 years old and can’t find his keys most days

7033
America is going to throw on helluva 4th of July party this year bro’s.

A mileage tax that replaced the gas tax would be something like $0.015 per mile for a typical 4 door sedan, fwiw.

They don’t actually verify your mileage though

It'd be easy to verify in Texas because you have to get your car inspected every year and the mileage is recorded at that time.

Damn, what a pain in the ass.  No freedoms in tx

It is a giant pain in the ass. Limits the number of beaters on the road though.

Fantastic burden on the poor in a state where vehicles are absolutely necessary.

I also suspect it's a way to weed out undocumented immigrants, but please point me to the state where vehicles are not necessary?

The state of Boston

How hard is it to find fringe NBA stretch-4s? We seem to have had success with those types under oscar.

Claws’s are basically impossible to find.  What other stretch 4’s has oscar recruited?

The EU is in shambles.

We will rescue them, we always do.

7038
So now we kind of have to use our standing in the world to make sure everyone else whips this things ass right?

7039
He needs to use his twitter powers only for good like inflating the price of doge coin

7040
If Antonio Gordon is actually gone  :crossfingers: do we have anyone worth a crap we could replace him with?

Healthy Monte Murphy is hopefully worth a crap.

7041
so we do in fact have a secure border?

Animals can’t even cross the border anymore so I’d say that crap is on lock

7042
How many teams have to become ineligible for us to get invited to Indy?

7043
Basically anyone that wants one can get one in 6 weeks or so

I think if anyone has a shot at the nba it’s Selton

This thread really separates the TSCs/Ad Astra bros from the non-TSC/non-Ad Astra bros. It's as if some of you don't even support the Konza Triangle...

Konza Triangle is a bridge too far.

7046
You get that jab bucket?

7047
Damn man Nijel can stroke it from deep

I reserve my lawls for ISU and still get some guilty pleasure from the Nubbs continuing failures.  Just don’t get much out of our Ad Astra bro’s suffering.

I’ll be honest I’ve never understood the pleasure in KU’s demise but to each their own.

How in the hell is this dude not on the hot seat and Prohm is and Weber was? Since he's got to TCU they have far and away been the worst team in the conference, by a country mile.

That team flat out quit on him in the second half,  he definitely has gone under the radar somehow.
