This article explains the context of slavery in the Bible.

https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/why-wrong-say-bible-pro-slavery/

But perhaps more importantly is the bigger narrative that, from the beginning, God created man in his own image and with that declares all men are to be valued equally. Then, Jesus came to save all men, Jews and Gentiles alike. The God of the Bible loves all people and calls them to himself. Men, however, are sinful. So if anyone throughout history distorted the true stance of the Bible, they were wrong.

:Ugh:
Care same for football, way less for basketball.  I care a lot about football though.  I'm as interested as I've ever been.

Wow, very interesting.
I've been wetting my beak trying to learn video editing a little bit lately.  You are certainly an inspiration in that regard.   Maybe someday you'll make another K-State video set to ave verum corpus or maybe just an imperceptibly soft buzzing noise.
I encourage you to take up where I left off. Don’t see myself making anything else. I’ve said what needed to be said. I know! Let’s all go watch them all and come back and talk about them!

Sad that the better they became, the less they were watched. It all became so clear...

Has your stance on gay marriage changed in 2020?
The Bible’s stance on homosexuality hasn’t changed, so mine hasn’t either.

Questions for you!

Do you care as much about K-State as you did 10 years ago?

Care is building after years of apathy. I like to believe they way I’m caring is a better and healthier version.
Sounds like an improvement.

What makes us care? Pride perhaps?

No, I don't.  I still care more than I'd like to though.

Also, hello PoetWarrior, how are you?
Sounds like you’re on the right path.

I’m well.

what is your favorite drink?
Gatorade.

that is not what I remember....
I know some of you think you have met me, but to my knowledge I’ve never met any of you. And if someone who was drinking (alcohol) said they were me, they weren’t. I’ve never had a drop.

This is the internet.

poetwarrior, if you could pick the next POTUS, picking whoever you wanted, who and why?
I would want someone who has led people before. Moral and fair. Believes that all human lives, born and unborn, are to be held in the highest regard. Doesn’t have an agenda or people to please. Uses reason to make decisions. Not afraid to do what’s truly right.

I have no idea who that person is or if they exist.

Not into politics.

PW, what is our ceiling with Howard at QB this year?
Seems like 7 wins would be absolute best to hope for. Is that good? Not sure, but I know it isn’t incredible.

PW I read Klieman and Gene were supposed to go to Nike HQ to check out new uniform concepts but it got cancelled by the pandemic. Seems like they still could have ups'd some concepts sand had a phone call to discuss then but what do I know
Sounds like a coach who is letting circumstances get in the way of domination.

Who is your favorite director at the moment (besides Terrence Mallick !)?

It is of course Malick. And Hidden Life, without the highest highs, was great.

Tough to say on others. I really liked the first trailer for If Beale Street Could Talk.

Devs (motion pictures) was interesting. Atlanta. Moments in Villeneuve, Safdies, Refn, Tarantino, Chazelle, Gray. Haneke.

Good tracking shots in Glory.

The lighthouse?
Good visual and sound. Empty.

But Uncut Gems came to mind. Relentless, intoxicating energy.

Single digit big guy...

PW, how are you?  Has the head finally been cut off?  Hope you are well.
Doing great! I was going to ask you the same question. I haven’t been to Manhattan for a five year period for the first time in my life.

More work to do.

Any other questions?
Thoughts on Deuce?

Seen any good movies lately?
I like Deuce. Seems to have it, in an undersized RB way. I like the safety who purposefully hits hard too.

Once upon a time in Hollywood stands out.
I remember the days when motion pictures were released. In the meantime, I just keep watching Whiplash.

PoetWarrior, hello and i hope this message finds you well.  What were your thoughts on the end of the Snyder era, beginning of Klieman?  Did you like the Klieman hire?  Who was the guy(gal) you wanted to be the next head coach after Snyder?
Glad Snyder was fired. Klieman was disappointing but expected. Killed my interest. I wanted Venables 15 years ago. Not sure who now. I like coaches who do whatever it takes and believe in fun. And can we get rid of the traditional unis? We have no tradition.

Thoughts on Elijah Sullivan PW?
Always liked single digit linebackers, not quite as good as defensive lineman, but still good.

PW, what have you been doing to avoid COVID-19 (and if you haven’t avoided it, how’d all that go)?
I’ve been wearing a mask and trusting that our Lord is in control of all things.

I’m guessing I’ve had it due to certain exposures, but was asymptomatic. Praying for those that are effected.
