So, I'm probably going to get roped into staying with my in-laws in Wichita for a week or so. I need some ideas for places to eat or otherwise indulge myself that don't totally suck.

FYI: I know VERY LITTLE about Wichita other than movie theaters and a few (mostly Arabic/French) restaurants. Are there things to do during the day while my wife is shopping at the crappy mall other than listening to my father-in-law yell at Al Jazeera?

Spangles. Exploration Place. Zoo. See if there is a car show at Century II. That's about it.

Correction, my response is to the best things to do in Wichita. Not things that do not suck.

My wife is from there and we go there quite a bit. I know a ton of great things to see and do.
