It's funny you should mention that Daris, because I've had similar thoughts.  I think we should add a school from Tokyo.  That's 30 million tv sets right there folks.

I hope you are just kidding.  Lots of posters seem to want MU to go now just because they are being pricks.  I want them to stay not only for the rivalries and history, but also because the new TV contracts coming up will be a lot bigger with MU than without, thus more dollars for the league and us.  Louisville does not add nearly as much as the value lost from MU.  I want Louisville in our conference regardless just to add more stability, but I sure as hell want MU to stay here despite them being giant pricks.  All the more excitement to beat them and be happy when they lose to other teams in conference.

What are you saying then?  You seriously want MU gone so that the Big 12 expands to 12 as opposed to keeping MU and staying at 10?  That's dumb, too.  That would equal far less money per school from the TV contracts by losing another big player and adding two more smaller fish to divide the money with.  If Missouri goes ahead and commits to the Big 12, the conference would be just as stable as if they left and we needed to add three more.
