I've always been a casual Wichita St. fan but I love it that they're probably going 0-2 in this regional. Even if I cheer for the Shockers I absolutely cannot stand their fans and bowing out this meekly in a sport they think they're elite in is hilarious. Though I must admit seeing pigaggie go 0-2 would be pretty satisfying too.

Btw is WSU simply shockeraggie? I'd go with whitetrashaggie but that's basically synonymous with pigaggie. Commuteraggie? Riverfestaggie?

The all purples had potential but they needed a little something more to be sexy. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe a little black somewhere, a different helmet, or maybe a shinier purple but I just can't quite get there with them. They're like that girl that looks like a 10 from a distance then when you get closer you notice the mustache on the lip and mole on the nose.

Amazing to think that KC deals Gonzalez to Atlanta b/c he's at the end of the line, & he outlasts the draft pick (Arenas) he was traded for.

Wasn't part of the Gonzalez deal that it was pretty obvious the Chiefs where going to suck for the next few years and he wanted to have a chance to play for a Superbowl before he retired?

Yeah, Gonzalez wanted out, and teams never get good trade value in that situation.

Well a 2nd rounder was decent value just didn't make very good pick with it

 Even if you feel every passage of the bible should be taken literally ( and trust me if you do you're going to go crazy trying to keep up with all the contradictions) you just need to remember that the bible itself is actually just a collection of books that a small group of people decided they where going to pick and choose some to put together to push their own agenda

I've wanted the Chiefs to take Renfree from Duke the whole time. Doubt they do but I can hope. Hated the Davis pick. He could be good but has too many negatives for the Chiefs to take in the 3rd. I actually like the Kelce pick though and I think Nico could be a really good fit.

I didn't watch most of it, but I thought it was kind of hilarious that New England traded their pick leading up to the whole Boston Strong rally so they didn't have anybody to give the honorary jersey to.

I kinda think Greg Marshall is crazy enough to stay at Wichita State until he flames out and gets fired.

After today, he's in LHC LHC Bill Snyder territory at WSU. I'm guessing he, Smart and Stevens pretty come up for every opening. They'll probably only get picked off by the real blue bloods or Texas.

Today was gold for Wichita State.  This is the kind of thing that could get them bumped into the Big East if they expand to higher numbers.

I don't know if it will get them into the new or old Big East, but it might get them considered as a non-football MWC member which I think would be a pretty good fit for them.

Van Vleet, Baker, and Early are going to tear the MVC a new one next year if they can find a post player with a pulse.
