Winning in Ames is reason to believe we're a tournament lock. Winning in Houston is reason to believe we're going to compete for the conference title. Winning both makes us the conference favorites.

we were really spoiled/lucky last year. This team needed to replace an absurd amount of scoring but they play hard and grind out wins. don't be "bullish" if you don't want to but man I think this is a very enjoyable team to follow.

Agreed.  they play hard, especially on defense.  When shots are falling it's glorious.
