It's more fun than most things I can think of.
Both Butler and Moose over .800 OPS in the last seven games. Small sample size, yes, but it's played a big part in going 5-2 over that stretch. Really, the whole team has been raking. They're scoring seven runs per game. Hoz and Gordon are at .820 and .900 OPS respectively, and Escobar is on fire. He's 11-23 with three walks, eight runs, five RBI and five XBH over that stretch.
The pitching and defense has held up too. The 3.28 opponent runs per game they've allowed will win you a lot of games.
Both Butler and Moose are finally starting to drive the ball, and while Butler's GB/FB (36/11) is still too high for a run producer, he's starting to lift it more than he was earlier. Moose's GB/FB (22/28) coupled with the increased LD% is just what you want from a guy in his role.
