Mrs. Stevesie60 and I have been trying to adopt for some time. We had been trying to go the cheap route but since so many fell through that way, we are now going the not-so-cheap route because it is more of a sure thing. I come here asking for your help in any way you feel inclined to help. I know this seems like it could interfere with Fattyfest, but I checked with BSAC and he said it was cool if I posted something.

Here are the details: Feb 28th at Auntie Mae's. It's an all day event, starting with a silent auction, possibly trivia, and a concert featuring The Headlight Rivals and The Carney Encore that night. (hey, that's basically the Fattyfest schedule!) I know, I love Fattyfest so much that we decided to steal the schedule.

If you have anything you'd like to donate to the silent auction, it would be much appreciated. If it's K-State related and/or you only have one of said item, please use it for Fattyfest and not for this event. If you don't have anything you want to donate but this sounds like something you'd enjoy, then clear your schedule for Feb 28th and let's hang out and have a good time!

congrats on trying to adopt, if I were local I would stop by. does your company do adoption assistance? I know mine pays a few thousand bucks to help out, you might check into that. just a suggestion. good luck.

Odell is buying a keg for the event which we will be selling for donations. I'd like something that beer connoisseurs and non-beer connoisseurs alike can all enjoy. Is the wheat the best option? Loose Leaf session ale? Perhaps 90 Schilling?
