I hope the Foundation put together some sort of Townie-Developer-Taxpayer conglomo that's unauditable in order to build that stuff.

On some levels saying that they're going to take the state back implies that ku was really good when they were winning a bunch of football games against K-State.   In reality, most years the ku vs K-State game was simply a bragging rights game to determine who sucked less.

When Scott Franz didn't hardly sniff KU last year, the only direction they have to go is up. Mangino at least made them competitive. Hell, he usually beat us for the top in-state recruits.

Johnson arrived at KU prior to the 2013 season as a three-star prospect out of Iowa Western Community College, where he teamed with KU offensive lineman Mike Smithburg and Kansas State quarterback Jake Waters to win a juco national title.

How often do they basically cheer for concussion injuries so football might go away?

No, Paco was from the Asbury years, and he quit after his junior season due to an intestinal condition that affected his stamina.

Mark Young. In the late 90s he was the best player on a mediocre KSU team and declared himself eligible for the draft.
We coulda used him.
