He totally could have. Wilson throws about as well as Alex Smith. They wanna use Lockett more for kick returns. We shall see, but man, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Big Ben, etc. They would have made him a stud.

You have to think long term. For his sake I am excited he is on a complete team that is already competing for championships. Wouldn't be surprised if he was in the mix for a ring in the next couple of years.

I'm surprised he's allowed to wear it during training.  Maybe it doesn't matter until game time.  :dunno:

So the NFL and Seahawks don't make enough money that they have to sell an advertisement on the practice jersey?  Or is it just Russell Wilson? Shameful. What is this NASCAR?

Fantasy College Football Breaking News

Cody Whitehair: Whitehair, Zack Martin/Brandon Scherff clone?
Cody Whitehair - G - KSU - Aug. 24 - 3:42 pm et
Kansas State senior OT Cody Whitehair "could be this year's version of Zack Martin or Brandon Scherff," according to CBS Sports' Dane Brugler.
The draft analyst believes Whitehair is a "dominant college left tackle with a first round skill-set at guard in the NFL, that is "is built well for the position and uses his wide base to handle speed off the edge, staying balanced and sinking his hips at the point of attack." The 6-foot-4, 309-pounder started at left guard as a sophomore, and moved to left tackle as a junior in 2014, earning All-Conference honors. The Kansas State prospect is one of the best and most versatile offensive linemen in the Big 12. Aug. 24 - 3:42 pm et

I love Cody (he's my guy!) but he is not Martin or Scherff. I bet he's a 3rd rounder.

Dante Barnett: Barnett must show he has NFL speed + strength
Dante Barnett - DB - KSU - Aug. 9 - 6:30 pm et
Kansas State senior S Dante Barnett "could move up boards if he proves he has the strength and speed to start at the next level," notes NFL Media draft analyst Chad Reuter.
"Barnett is a slight, tough-minded defender who can make plays in the secondary and throw his body into running backs," Reuter wrote. The 6-foot-1, 186-pound Barnett posted 77 tackles, three picks, four TFL and eight pass breakups last season. Aug. 9 - 6:30 pm et

Quote
19. Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State (6-4, 309, 5.08, RSr.)
Whitehair left an indelible mark at KSU with his leadership, work ethic and high-level of play the last four years at both tackle and guard. He doesn't have the length to hold up consistently on the edges in the NFL, but Whitehair has the base strength and instincts to start at guard right now.
