We really have come a long way.  In 1989 we tore the goal posts down for beating North Texas.  Let that sink in..... North......  Texas......

If I didn't know the stadium, I would be at a loss for which team those were fans of. Bulls? Virginia basketball?

Yes, it would have been a truly fantastic time to be a K-State football fan. No rules about what to wear, where you can drink, where you can sit. Just a bunch of hardcore K-State bros cheering the Cats to victory over North Texas and soaking it in.

I imagine this is what the crowds look like in Lawrence these days.

That was a great time to be  a Wildcat. 89-93 was a lot of fun in the stadium. Wasn't any need to tailgate. We drank from our pints the entire game.

809 Bluemont anyone?

Didn't know Jim McMahon was there.  Cool. Figured he would have been getting ready for a game on a Saturday.

Five of my friends lived there for two or three years. We had some great keggers. I never lived there though.

The hair flow in that picture is phenomenal.  Also, watching the actual clip the amount of neon in the crowd was off the charts.

would make more sense if we won a Naty.  story is kind of anticlimactic otherwise.

Plenty of 30 for 30's don't have championship endings. Winning Time (Reggie Miller), Trojan War, You Don't Know Bo, The Best that Never Was...

I would think that the ending would focus more on how HCBS has impacted the community.
"Whenever I drop back to pass, I am prepared to take the hit. When I run the ball, I'm going as hard as I can. I know when defensive players see quarterbacks running the ball, it is the perfect shot for them to take the quarterback out of the game. But I turn into a running back." - Michael Bishop
