Usually the inquiry comes with a, "Hey, you interested in this job I'm trying to fill?" So that is kind of the start of a professional working relationship, is it not?

Just found out a buddy and his wife of 2 years are splitting up, they'd been dating since HS before that.  Seems really broken up about it (but held together in a stoic way)  Any thoughts on how to cheer up a brosif in need?

That was actually my first thought (or at least among them)

What is the state of Kansas' thought on alimony these days?  2 young people (27ish) cohabiting a house (don't know how the mortgage is signed) wherein the man is the sole breadwinner, supporting the woman's ever increasing educational forays (obtaining a pud WSU degree after 10 years of higher education, this fall)... we thinking 50/50 split here? any recurring payments?

candy corn is rough ridin' gross, and so are oreos. Which makes this purchase double rough ridin' gross.

I had a friend who was married 7 years. She only had part time/short duration jobs through the whole marriage; no kids. (I.e. no reason for her not to have a job). She got alimony for a year. Not sure of all the other settlement details, but she still lives in the house they bought together.

let's not have this very important thread turn into a divorce thread.

that being said, the general rule in kansas is to equally split all assets and liabilities accrued during the marriage. since they were only married for 2 years there will likely be little to no alimony due.

I think I would go with Sunflower State of Mind and we would play music similar to passion pit/ghostland observatory and people would be like man who the eff ever liked pomeroy.

rapper name probably something like dillicious and I'd be a mix of D'angelo, bone thugs and ice cube. basically nate dogg but better.
