When the previous president signed off on an order which wholly changed how gathered intelligence from surveillance was disseminated, they are part of this discussion.

Not the least bit surprising that resident Dems either don't get it, or don't think it's a big deal.

The prospect that the previous administration was spying on Trump is just as plausible as all the extremely circumstantial evidence derived almost exclusively from unnamed sources or highly suspect sources against Trump.

Leakgate Finds Its Joe McCarthy
On Trump-Russia links, Rep. Schiff tries to fool the public with randomness.

If Donald Trump tweeted his accusations about President Obama wiretapping Trump Tower to get the media off his alleged ties to Russia, then Democrats at Monday’s hearing of the House Intelligence Committee used those same tweets to distract from their lack of goods on alleged COLUSION between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.

Adam Schiff, the California Democrat and ranking member, not once but twice on “Meet the Press” touted “circumstantial evidence of COLUSION.”

David Frum probably just hates Trump because he's buds with Jeb.

Dax, how is any of that related to the current FBI counter intelligence investigation on your man, Donald J Trump?

Looks like the FBI should have launched that investigation a little sooner and expanded that, dare I say, Dragnet a little further out into the waters.

There's one big difference to what you're pointing out and what's being reported. Trump's people were giving them the  to leak the e-mails they hacked.

On record where?   You're really going to sit there and tell me that the Russian were going to hold back on that unless Trump et. al. told them to release it?  Really?

Not at all, but do you seriously not see how it's a big deal if Trump's team is on the phone or inter-webs telling them to do it beforehand?

Sure, if.

But it's also interesting that you can't find out these things unless you're spying on somebody.   So they're trying to wrap this all up in a neat little FISA (or similar) bow to CYA . . . and coincidently (or ironically?) Obama signs off on a substantial new order which vastly expands the dissemination of intelligence and unmasking just before leaving office.   You will note, no, no you won't, that they're doing their best to wrap this up in a veil of ordinary intelligence gathering (pss, here's a newsflash, the NSA doesn't care about FISA courts, rights or the rule of law.   Never have, never will) when in fact Dick Nixon has a boner in his grave.

We've seen the Flynn transcripts, he did nothing wrong.   Then they tried Sessions . . . nope just a normal meeting just like Dem leaders have had for years with the same people.  So now it's off to plan C, D, E and beyond.    We have extremely suspicious allegations against a campaign manager coming from one of the most corrupt governments in the world (but hey, its makes a 'Pub look bad, so run with it).   A government and country which coincidently has friends and family from the highest levels of the previous administration draped all over their politics and industries.

So who is colluding with who at this juncture?
