They know everything about the harness. My guess is they probably just snap the pic and then put her back on the leash and tie her to the stair case or something.

I wouldn't trust them.

I messaged them a little bit ago that it's pretty wild that she's good staying in the harness inside when at my place, she doesn't go to her spot until I've taken it off.

We can gamble here on if that creates an epiphany or not.

They say she goes straight to the bed after coming in from walks and getting unleashed and that they've been taking the pictures then and taking the harness off after.

Solved mystery?

Solved mystery?

Ask them for a photo at a random time to see if she still has the harness on.

Successful away-from-home non-sidewalk crap yesterday.  We went for a long walk across and alongside the water yesterday.  It happened without warning while I was walking on the sidewalk and she was walking on the adjacent grass.  I don't know if I just lucked out and she was on grass when it happened or she knew grass was ok and proceeded at her discretion.

Friday night, we were making a lap through the bar, and some mean, older lady started instructing me that I had to put Payton on a leash.  She thought I worked there and was yelling about how she was a paying customer.  Payton and I just walked unleashed back to the other side.  Old lady left but then came back and was yelling at the bartender about it.  Bartender explained that unleashed Payton and I stay.  Lady said she's afraid she'll be it.  Bartender said she hopes she gets bit by something, it won't be by Payton.  Lady left permanently.

That was just the p/t bartender. MOL was demanding the owner and was told she could come back during the week in the afternoon but would get shut down even harder.

I was given a big discount on my bill for the inconvenience, and tipped 150%. Success all around.

There's a hell of a situation going on at the building I'm moving out of next week, and the relevant part is it's rare I can let Payton off leash in the courtyard.  She doesn't like to crap while on the leash, and thus she hadn't shat all day yesterday.  Around 6, I decided I'd walk her over to the nearest off-leash dog park to see if she could take care of business there.

To get there, you walk across the intersection of 1st and Pike that fronts Pike Place.  At that intersection, cars from all directions get stopped by the lights and it's an all-way pedestrian crossing.  So on a nice, sunny day, in that big open space in my picture below, when the walk signal comes on, there's people everywhere in that intersection.

We're walking across diagonally, and Payton stops dead in her tracks at dead-center and shits out the entire day's worth.  I had to get the eff out the road, and wait for the next signal and have my friend hold her while I went back to get the crap.  It was so dead-center, almost none had gotten touched by traffic.

She must have sensed my disappointment, and has since crap on leash in the courtyard last night and this morning.

My dad always feeds lady human food. He will literally stick random sliced meat that is about to expire into the freezer then pull it out when he watches my dog or my sister's dog.

Sorry KCFD. Dog SF has been gone a month now. I miss the eff out of him. We're adjusting to the missing him, but also a bit of guilt from having and enjoying some freedom we haven't had in 14 years.

That's how we felt at first too. But you shouldn't feel guilty. Just enjoy your freedom.

This has been stopping me from getting a second.

Are you able to go home at lunch?

Doggie daycare is another option but can get pricey
