I mean I get it and all with our shitty schedule, but there isn't asingle  bracketology out there with our names on it. I'm like talking "next four out" after the first four out kinda stuff. Pretty weird for a 9-1 club.

so do you get it with our shitty schedule or not?  because when reading the first part of your post, i thought you did.  but then i read the second part of your post and i decided that you didn't.

Well yeah, I get it, but there's been similar teams in the past (ex. Last Year South Carolina team) which were still projected and had played no one. I'm guessing they thought those teams would continue to do well in the conference, but they're assuming we won't?

i don't have time to sys/kenpom it up but last year's usc schedule wasn't comparable to ours this year (this is a hypothesis)
by the time they reached their first loss they had beaten clemson, vandy, tulsa, memphis, st johns, auburn.  they're low tier p5 but better than anything we've beaten.

and yeah, we're not going to do as well in the b12 as usc did in the sec rotation they had last year
That's fair.

stud

That guy is an AP voter for football too, and I believe he was a Stud of the Week once or twice in the last couple years.

EDIT: I take that back.  He was a DUD of the week for his 9/27/15 poll where he dropped the cats (who had a bye that week) from 25 to NR.  Tsk tsk, Mr. Doughty!

Its about a resume and not entire profile, I don't think playing bad teams hurt you that much. Big 12 will offer more opportunities for quality wins, USCjr just didn't have enough chances to add quality wins to their resume.

So their biggest non-con win was away at Clemson. What's CSU's kenpom right now? Not expecting it to be great by any means, but it might be close.

Actually Tulsa was their best win in the noncon as they actually got an at-large bid tho that game was in the Bahamas

south carolina's schedule last year was a joke because of their conference slate more so than their noncon.  their noncon wasn't particularly challenging, but it was only when combined with their ridiculously easy conference schedule that it turned into a shitshow.

only one voter has ranked us all season, and that man is Doug "Doughboy" Doughty, of the Roanoke Times in Roanoke, VA.  He had us at 22 last week and dropped us to 25 this week.

Moving ahead of the Cats in Doughboy's poll were Arizona, Oregon and Butler.

The Cats received the most votes they've received all season this week.  Although Doughboy is our only voter again, he has us at 21.

This is the most votes we've received since November 17, 2014.

People appear to be coming around to Doughboy's influence.  Can't get much voter info yet, but it appears that the Cats are "tied" for the 25/26th spot.  Details on voter info to come!
