Can somebody tell me if the former Manhattan High product who transferred to McPherson is a potential d1 player? I heard that he and that kid from St John were studs.

Gonna win 'em all!

No. He's like a 6-4 post player.

this weekend will host Kerwin Roach, Claws and Dante Hales-Williams. I would dance on Gene Keady's future grave just to sign all three, skill sets of each would make a great recruiting class.

Concerning redundancy, does anyone know how Claws's game compares to Eric Cobb's? They're the same height and are currently listed with Cobb as only 20 lbs heavier. If we take two forwards in this class I think a stretch 4 (Wade) and an athletic center (Hales-Williams) would be ideal. I guess I'm asking whether Cobb could fill that stretch 4 type roll, I thought that's what we're going for with the 4...

Cobb is a bid boy, nothing close to a stretch 4. He is huge. If Wade developed he could move to a 3.

I was thinking the same thing about Wade possibly playing as a wing. If Gip does get most of his minutes as a 4 next season (and also nino), when they graduate there needs to be new options at the 3 and 4. No doubt Wes and Malek can hold it down but at least one guy who could play either (like Wade) would be ideal for this recruiting class.

Thanks _Fan.
I thought I heard that he was a 3 with a potential to play 2 at next level.

I like Barry. I wish he was ranked in the top 150 so we could rub it in everyone's faces.

Barry plays with a serious chip on his shoulder, I think that should be the K-State way. It might be a good thing he is not ranked, even though I don't think it is fair. I have the same felling I had about him that I had about Foster, Why in the hell isn't this kid ranked.

He looks like he should be ranked. At least in his videos, which I understand are limited, I don't see much difference between him and roach except for height.

Serious question tho? Did this guy feel pressured with all of our elite recruits coming in to visit?

Of course he committed knowing 3 visits were taking place. Smart move.

Concerning the lack of ranking- he still has a senior year left to play and make noise. I think it would be different if he committed towards the end of the year without making waves, but based on film it appears like he is truly under the radar. Just give it some time.

So, with recruits set to visit this weekend and our two available scholarship slots spoken for, how does the final scholarship spot pan out?

Redshirt him his freshman year. We will have a lot of studs at the 1 and 2 guard spot. Might as well save a year of eligibility.
