WR Drop Count -- CTR edition
« on: October 07, 2017, 06:15:37 PM »
1st drive of the game: Pringle, 3rd and 13, hit him in both hands right at the first down marker. Fell to the turf. Punt time.

On the replay you could clearly tell he was looking for the defender and took his eyes off the ball. I swear

I am growing to dislike Pringle.

He hasn't done crap as a WR this year.

I really really like Pringle Bells and I think he is at heart a very good WR. But man. He is straight up in his own head right now.

At least "It's Not A" Zuber just caught an easy one.

Gawd. Zubes was wide open and Ertz just....threw it not even close to him. Great one-handed grab by Gruntley though, and by DJamer on that kickoff.

I legitimately have thought periodically throughout this season, why haven't we pulled a Terence Newman with DJamer Reed? By that I mean, in desperate long bomb-y situations, why not just put him in there and tell him to make up his own route, go long, and burn everybody?

Also, Dominique made that great downfield grab and Wyatt just said, "Welcome back, Domm-o!"

K this is now just the wide receiver SkinnyBenny stream of consciousness/hurricane pak thread.

I think Dalton Gruntley has solved the WR drop problem.

It's amazing what happens when Ertz throws the ball on target. WRs bailing him out a bit aside from that last td.
