I concur, on two accounts:
1 - Time of possession is our most important offensive statistic. That and playing defense is the calling card of most Snyder teams. Do some people still not get this? The Bishop years and those Jake Waters years when we couldn't run worth a damn were outliers. We were 45th in the nation in offensive ppg last season, 32.2. Regardless of where that ranks us, we need to score more than that to win the conference. Maybe at least 5 more ppg?
2 - Ertz will be banged up at some point this season. Let's hope it is not during a vital game (OU, OSU).
Question - how overrated are our running backs?
