How to treat Mizzou
« on: May 14, 2010, 12:23:43 PM »
Once the smoke clears and Mizzou realizes they were just a pawn to lure Notre Dame, how do we treat them?  Do we say no harm no foul and welcome them back with open arms or do we hold a grudge or what?  There has to be some repurcussions for their extended amount of flirting and just overall trashy behavior.   :users:

I think we mourn that we still have to put up with their dumb ass...

Think we need more girls on the board to advise on catty behavior towards a girl who whores herself out like that.

Can't fault them for wanting to get what they can, when they can, how they can.

Never understood the negative stance toward whores.

I'm sympathetic to Mizzou, according to some of their alum, the Big 10 has conference-wide participation in some non-major sports that are only partially fielded in the Big 12, like wrestling and some other sports that are too boring to follow.  I take that back, wrestling is not boring, but the other 3 or 4 sports are so boring I was too unexcited to even remember them.

Plus all that extra money.

What would you do if you could leave a moronic rival like ku behind in a broken conference?

What it all comes down to is that we are acting pissed and jealous like a bunch of little girls because we wish that we were wanted by another conference, instead of the leftovers.

You sound like you want us to start a wrestling team.  I for one, couldn't be more in.  Imagine the Undertaker in all purple

Mods, please make a wrestling board and move this there so me and Deputy Dawg can lead a discussion about it, TIA

I don't think we're acting jealous of Mizzou. I think we were all worried about UT leaving and being relegated to the MVC or MWC. Now that such a scenario seems unlikely, I say we treat Mizzou like every MoFo who tries to stab you in the back and run off to the Caribbean...BANG HIS WIFE.

I have talked to exactly one mizzou fan about this.  '

He 1) mentioned that it "made more sense academically" and 2) was a complete idiot.

I don't know that this helps me make a conclusion on how to respond.  I think it merely confirms my earlier categorical response to all things mizzou, bemused indifference.

If big televen doesn't get dame and takes Rutgers/Pitt/etc, treat them like a bitch.

If them being toyed with forces lame into a conference, treat them like a bitch that at least had the decency to swallow.

If them being toyed with forces texass to give up some of their toys and make the conference more equally, treat them like a bitch that had the decency to swallow and let you pee in her butt.

Kind of along these lines... We should break off communication with Missouri altogether. Do whatever it take to retain Nub and do whatever it takes get Notre Dame in the Big XII. Can you imagine how pissed off the Big 10 would be? Not to mention the entire state of Missouri. eff'em!

I went to K-State and Missouri, so my feelings about this are very confused. (The only thing I know for sure is that I still hate KU.)

I have found that if you mention recruiting in Texas they get very mad.  They insist Pinkel will continue to recruit Texas as good as Mack does.

I heard some national radio pundit claim that adding Missouri and Nebraska to the Big Ten would open up that entire conference to the recruiting hotbeds of Texas and the lower Mississippi valley. :dunno:

It would probably just close off Texas and the lower Mississippi Valley to Nebraska and Mizzou. Not many Big 10 games are televised there.

I would probably treat Mizzou with heavy doses of antibiotics and methadone. :dunno:
