The second annual K-State Family Reunion will be among the nation's most showcased contests on September 4 as the Wildcats' 2010 season opener against UCLA will be broadcast by ABC Sports, beginning at 2:30 p.m., K-State and Big 12 officials announced Tuesday. LHC Bill Snyder will lead Kansas State into the 2010 opener on ABC."We have a tremendous opportunity on September 4 to showcase our University and football program to the nation," athletics director John Currie said. "Our fans responded with over 50,000 last year for the Family Reunion and we need LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium to be packed with purple when we kick off against the Bruins."The contest will mark the first time since the Texas Tech game on October 4, 2008, that K-State has appeared on ABC, while the last time the Wildcats have opened the season on the network was August 31, 1996, against Texas Tech in the inaugural game of the Big 12 Conference.K-State's game against UCLA will be the 36th appearance all-time on the network and will also mark the 16th time in the last 17 years that at least one Wildcat football game will air on ABC.Two of K-State's six home games this season have now already been selected for television as the UCLA game joins the ESPN nationally-televised contest against Nebraska on Thursday, October 7.All North End Zone season tickets for the 2010 season have been sold out, but great seats in other areas of the stadium remain on sale and can be purchased online at k-statesports.com or by calling 1-800-221-CATS.Single-game tickets for the Wildcats' six home games will go on sale June 14, while a four-pack of tickets to the UCLA game can be purchased for $99 from June 14-30. Also, K-State Alumni Association members can package UCLA and Texas tickets for only $120 if ordered between June 1-11.

ABC 2:30 kicks are the best
There is going to be some aggressive 'Paking on that day. I am going to go ahead and hitch my wagon to the Pete Pak Planning coattails.

It is indeed, for both if we want it. East side pavement, the way God intended (GTFOOMF West side). With a 2:30 start for the UCLA game and the NU game being during the week, probably makes more sense to shoot straight to the lot instead of house pak'ing, but my helium tank is portable, so I'm up for whatever.
I'm going to dress up as the corpse of Heath Ledger.
