The Wildcats had the second-best offense in the Big 12 behind Baylor, it just went largely unnoticed because it was so relentlessly efficient. K-State’s 2.54 points per drive and 6.32 yards per play were second behind the Bears and they led the league in third down conversion rate (48.8 percent).

Have to scroll through the pics, but check out #22  :gocho:

The obvious takeaway is that Kansas has access, by virtue of geography and of playing in the Big 12, to the Kansas City metroplex, Wichita, Dallas-Ft Worth, Houston, lots of rural towns in the great plains, and somehow to the Bay area and southern California.

i wtf is he said?

this guy set out to write thinking mans football stuff, without having the brains to do it

I like how he goes into the article saying that he's going to break down Snyder's wizardry for all of us rubes, and then he basically wrote an article that amounts to "It's rough ridin' magic you guys!!!  :runaway:

4 different youngsters talking about Snyderisms.  We've read this article a hundred times.

I'd love to see _FAN break down this article

The personnel/recruiting/culture stuff is pretty typical (and has some truth to it), but apparently the state of Kansas has no high school with more than 100 students.

I have no idea why the writer chose that particular play to highlight what Snyder's ball control passing game is all about. It would've made much more sense to focus on the amount of passing vs running that took place as Waters took over (around 55% passing or more) compared to what we did with Klein, etc. My breakdowns are a bit more complex than a national guy is going to get into, but he could've looked at games where Waters played the majority of the snaps (Texas Tech and forward) and done a decent rough comparison.
