green initiatives are great.  marketing them in this manner is not great.  how does something like this get approved?  is the target audience a group of 4th graders from Marlatt Elementary?  did they think that ecoKat will turn even the most ardent polluters into ecowarriors?

Wonder why we're making ecoKat mascots as opposed to creating a bus system.

The university should not be funding a bus system to support the cheap ass townies.

Someone tweet this thread to Schultzy.
"walking around mhk and crying in the rain because of love lost is the absolute purest and best thing in the world.  i hope i fall in love during the next few weeks and get my heart broken and it starts raining just to experience it one last time."   --Dlew12

Disagree.  K-State should be kicking in an equal share of the funding, but that's probably for another thread.

Seriously.  Are people getting fired for this crap yet?  If nobody lost their job because of the Power Towel fiasco, then we might as well just disband the university.

Oh, and I didn't watch the K-State.HD launch today.  Do the gravy lens cameras qualify as K-StateO?

I like some of their ideas.  Maybe EcoKat could become WipeFrontToBackKat when she's done with this gig.

Environmentalism is pretty much a "liberal" thing.  This is an easy battle to fight for them.

I know. I saw the reaction on twitter before I saw the video. Was a huge letdown when you see it in that context. The powertowel blew it away in every way imaginable.

Well, the comic book graphics and the exploding jayhawk are done a lot better than Willie in front of a green screen playing guitar.
