I think you could grab from behind and tackle just fine. The defender probably needs to keep their feet a little more. I’m guessing we see it called frequently on the preseason, a few times in the first month and rarely after that. Teams and officials will adjust.

I’m assuming they’ll target the avoidable ones, similar to defenders landing with their full weight on the QB. There will be shitty calls, as with any penalty, but hopefully less than QB safety calls.

I'm trying to sell this as a birthday gift to my wife and she is NOT having it.

I think it's easier to call with clarity in the new rule.  Of course it'll be somewhat a PITA as with most penalties and require a lot of judgement, but it's wrapping a player up and then dropping their weight on the opponent's legs.

The wife and I hit KC Craft Ramen in OP for lunch. I’ve tried dinner and it always seemed absolutely packed. I did the Japanese curry which was good but my wife’s ramen was way better. Their broth was way different and better than most ramen’s I’ve had.

Getting rid of Moore and/or Toney wouldn't have anything to do with the money.  They aren't contributing enough at a position that gave them every opportunity to contribute last year.  At some point, the Chiefs will want some of those roster spots (Moore/Ross/Toney/Hardman) to bring in a more reliable vet or more promising talent.  The lack of any cap savings is why the Chiefs will bring them all to camp and give them an opportunity to keep their spot.

Max has everything but CBS and Paramount has CBS for any non-cable streamers.  It's a little annoying to navigate to CBS but not too bad.

Between Hardman and, I think it was Toney's TD last year, we've had two SB touchdowns to WRs that didn't have the first rough ridin' clue about the play.

I think Skyy, Toney and Hardman are cheap enough that you probably bring them all to camp (assuming nobody else wants Hardman).  I'd only give those three one roster spot to compete for.  I think Toney still has the most promise out of those 3 but is also the biggest pain in the ass.  When you're b2b SB champs, I think you get rid of the pain in the ass.

I think he is a little stronger than his average.  I'm going just under 1k and 9 TDs.

I don't trust the KC WR coach to develop young talent so I think Pat goes to the vet a lot

I don't know much about the WR coach but Rashee Rice showed a lot of development this year I thought.

Most of our WRs couldn't make the right read or run a route well enough to throw the ball down the field.  I think Rashee's talent overcame some of the shitty coaching but we still had to get him the ball within 5 yards of the LOS.  I don't have much faith in Skyy and Toney but our WR group had issues with every aspect of the position as basic as lining up properly. I don't expect us to get much out of a late first round receiver this year with Brown, a more established Rice, and a seemingly shitty WR coach trying to get him up to speed.

KU simply can't handle the rigors of the new B12.  They've been slipping for a while now and Houston is just light years beyond them at this point.

Poor Things was a much wilder ride than I expected

Is it worth traveling closer to the band worth it or is the show going to be pretty cool in KC area?

If you're traveling closer, hotels within the band are expensive AF.  People have been booking about a year out.  Stay somewhere an hour out and then drive into it.

It was an interesting move considering the Raiders QB situation is dookie
Yeah, I don’t know that it positions them to win more but it does position them to hit Mahomes more.

For the most part, day 1 of free agency was good for the Chiefs, imo.  They didn't miss out on anybody I would want for the money spent.  I'm not going to enjoy watching Wilkins/Cosby chase Mahomes but oh well.  Tyron Smith and Mooney still on the board which are my top 2 for the Chiefs.

Doesn’t smith get injured a lot??  No thx.  Just move taylor over to LT if u have to and figure out rt
He does but I would also draft an OT early with the deep class this year and a Sneed pick coming.

KU shouldn't even play in the NCAAs.  A ceiling of the Sweet 16 with the nation watching Dickinson flop and wine is not going to benefit them.

I don't know that Gay gets more than Tranquil.  He's a mid-starter at LB that doesn't rush the passer.

The difference between a Northwestern degree and a KU degree is the difference between figuring out your temporary home before starting renovations vs after.

Tbh, I just don’t think Bill and Tang really care for each other. Contrasting personalities and the beef between Self’s KU staff and Drew’s BU staff is real.

I agree.  Self is more cynical and Tang is overly positive.

Self's been doing this long enough that he knew what he was doing with his postgame comments.  He can take some focus off what has probably been his most disappointing season at KU so far.

Jenny Lewis was great.  I enjoy the Truman as a venue too.  The "VIP" seats put us on a balcony right by the stage and were very reasonably priced.  It's not a fancy venue but is a nice size to get decent acts.

Don Antonios had delicious tacos.  It's KCK out on State St but was an easy stop off for the SKC game

The Philly goal had them celebrating right in front of me in the cauldron which was annoying.  A buddy got hit in the back with a beer.  A Philly player threw beers back and some guy next to me was trying to get security to help him press charges.

At the money he's getting and the type of WR he is, I'm glad Evans is off the market.
