Saturday could be the day I pull the trigger on some tac glasses.

They haven't played the cheesy as seen on tv ads on espnu the last couple of weeks, they just play either that stupid extra commercial or the dumb ass snickers one with the surgeon

Peloton. 24/7.

every. damn. game.

Actually trying not to put in too many details at the risk of outing myself (I really do not doubt someone in their offices glances the message boards every so often), but there were a few things said that I know they would not have wanted me turning around and BBS-ing about.  Nothing that juicy, but they were more open then I would have expected.

I was just about to ask if this was the source of every gpc hot bit of tid. I just imagine these entry level sales types telling you all the things you want to hear. Explains everything really.

We're getting close enough -- let's talk about them. Reports seem to vary widely.   How good or bad are they?  How well does Stanford match up?

I honestly have no idea how to answer that question

I regularly cycle thru 4 Oklahoma sports radio shows between OKC and Tulsa.  2 of those regularly have Dusty Dvorcheck on, who has a 5th show I can't get, which is the most popular mid-day show in OKC.  Every one of them is calling for OU to leave as soon as possible, but most know OU has to wait until the end of the GOR.  Every one is telling all their listeners the Big12 is dying and OU is working on leaving.  Every call is either an OU fan trying figure out how to get out or and OSU trying to rationalize that both OU and OSU should go SEC together.

OU fans and OU media have gone full Aggie.  I don't think our fans living outside Oklahoma realize how big the push is getting in Oklahoma.  You guys can call Boren stupid all you want, and he's a major reason this conference went to crap, but he's quickly becoming the last person in the state that wants OU in the Big12.  At some point they're going to get tired listening to their fans bitching and move.

That's Oklahoma still reeling from the KD saga. OKC must extend Westbrook for the stability of this conference.

In all seriousness, talk radio is the dipshit corral. And if you listen to Oklahoma sports talk radio, you are well aware of the caliber of people responsible for content.

I fully agree with the dipshit corral reference.  One of the biggest voices has become Dusty Dvoracek, a guy who beat someone so bad that his last name became a verb, as in to "Dvoracek" someone.  What I'm saying is the people are buying into it.  They sound a lot like Aggie fans just before they moved.  You can call the people/groundswell stupid all you want, but that doesn't make it any weaker.  At some point soon 75 year old Boren is going to retire and the easiest thing a new UP can do to win over the crowd is give them what they want.

Interestingly enough, earlier in the week ATL sports talk radio dedicated about 15 minutes to the Houston Cougars chances at making the CFP and couldn't remember who their first opponent was.

Oklahoma may as well be Mexico to SEC country. I would hope conferences and networks have had academic departments working to confirm this as well.

Final Kimball Corridor document:
http://www.k-state.edu/northcampuscorridor/KSU%20North%20Campus%20Corridor%20Master%20Plan%20Single%20pages.pdf

The total redo of Kimball avenue with landscaping, limestone fencing, and campus entrance gates will be cool

Actually spent some time looking through it. The signage and "consistency" they are going for looks pretty great. Would love for a lot of this kind of stuff to happen.

Architectural sizes may vary but continuity of the established campus should be preserved through incorporating a predominance of limestone and glass exterior wall finishes and comparably colored roofing material

“It’s sort of tongue in cheek, but the more you think about it, the more you can make a case that Kansas is a failed state,” Dickens said. “Look what happened (Tuesday) in the House. (House Speaker Ray) Merrick runs that place like a tinhorn dictatorship."

First time I've heard the terms:
Tinhorn Dictatorship and
Ray Merrick

Also, lol @ these crackers
